I had honestly missed that we had in-game models that were demoed at Blizzcon, I just thought we had concept art! Those earthen look cool though! And no, I’m not being sarcastic or joking - I genuinely think they look really cool!
I could sorta understand folks not being excited over the concept art but… I honestly don’t get why folks are this negative towards earthen seeing the models demoed. Sure they don’t hold a candle to Dark Irons but still, they look cool!

No, they’ve been negative because “dwarves bad” and “why does horde get dwarves.” It’s not another elf, so people don’t like it.
Earthen look pretty cool, but I’d have settled for no new races this expansion. I feel like there’s a lot of bloat.
While there have been some I’ve seen who are like ‘Bearded women? Why’. And some really petty things thrown about. Most of the backlash seems to be that people don’t want a reskin of dwarves as an allied race. They wanted something ‘Unique’. Allied races aren’t really unique. They are very much Reskin races.

The only talking point I like is getting rid of Earthen. The rest sound awful, I’m quite excited for Hero Talents and Delves.
I will so laugh if the racials get revealed and its not one of them XD
Vulpera are a reskin but still unique.
Or they could have done an allied race from a race that doesnt already have an allied race based on them.
And kul tiran are an allied race, but still something new.
Basically, they had options 
Tbh once Calia died and was raised as Lightforged Undead, I was fully expecting a Lightforged Undead allied race.
They did, but they wanted to add something that would fit with the destination we’d be going to for the expansion so it would tie in with story beats.
I’m not personally a fan of Earthen, but I am not too upset by them either. I’m more indifferent.

Because we’ve been asking for unique popular races for years, we’ve had ENOUGH of reskins no one asked for. We’ve had ENOUGH of monkey pawed races like “oh you wanted high elves? These corrupted blood elves will suffice” or “oh drakonid? How about feeble experiments who can’t transmog?”
Sethrak, Ogres, Naga, Ethereals, Arakkoa, Jinyu/Ankoan, Gilgoblins, Saberon… Even the spider humanoids in TWW would have been a much better received option.

Im more confused by them than anything else.
Like, who did they think wanted these? They revealed them at blizzcon as if they expected fans to be hyped.
Im going to given them a chance.
Maybe these dwarves will be so cool in the story that people want to play them.
Maybe the faces wont all be hideous like the other 2 types of dwarf.
Maybe not every gem will be hidden by armor.
Time will tell i guess.

Having been in the audience when they announced them, yeah, there was just a lot of, “Okay… Really?” The arena definitely didn’t get hyped over them.
Jinyu and Gilgoblins would have been a good duo together. Maybe if we get a proper Naga expansion. I’m not convinced we won’t get the Evolved Nerubians by the end of TWW.

I’m not opposed to AR. But I have neither the time nor interest in alts until I can have all achievements function account wide.
So no matter what toon I’m on, I’m not wasting progress.
I can add any title, mog, and piecemeal stuff like loremaster across multiple toons. Until then, it’s just not worth it to have alts.
I’d like to see classic achievements shown on my retail toon as well. Obviously color/list them under a different tab.
I shouldn’t care, but achievements are like my CV. I would like to have them all in one place and all toons benefit from whatever. So, I can put Veteran of the 4th War on a brand new toon…so what if it wasn’t exactly that specific one
TLDR. They can add all the ARs they want, but I’ll stick with my main.
