I don’t think you know what the word terrifying means, Stenner. No one is terrified about anything to do with a video game unless they have genuine mental health issues.
That said; maintaining two sets of assets is a needless complexity for a game - Classic - that can exist with a completely static set of models instead of having to do client updates every time models change in retail.
It’s Classic, not Classic Reforged.
No, it doesn’t terrify anyone - some people don’t like the idea you like. That’s really all there is to it.
The problem with the models used in BfA is that for most races, they aren’t faithful to the original models at all. They’re quite different stylistically and several of the original faces were effectively deleted and replaced with different faces, among other problems the originals didn’t have (it’s been how long since WoD now and nearly all low-hanging offhands still severely clip into my leg…).
That’s fine for modern WoW, but the whole point of Classic is being faithful to Vanilla, so you can probably see the issue there. If they added a model toggle, they’d have to first tweak the new models to better mirror their Vanilla counterparts so there aren’t any differences between them aside from resolution.
Totally agree, except for me, it was the lighting. Old lighting was so horrible it wasn’t even funny. I remember getting a Torch of Austen and then seeing it light up only 4 polys in a diamond shape at my feet was teeth-grindingly bad.
It really amazes me that you want to keep giving your opinion to everyone else based on your feelings, and your experience. Not everyone’s experience is going to be identical to yours. Stop with the pity BS and telling people not to waste their time. The great thing about their time, it isn’t yours. It’s also very ironic you telling people to stop coming here when you clearly haven’t left for over 24 hours.
Just like yesterday “You suck because you liked a retro console that you bought for your daughter I don’t believe exist.”
Get help with your issues, and stop trying to convince others your bad experiences should be theirs too. People liked Vanilla, if they want to play because they liked it, your opinion means almost nothing.
It’s called a public forum. If you can’t deal with other opinions, don’t come here.
I said I wasn’t going to waste my time with Classic. I don’t care what you do with yours, as long as you don’t keep spamming the forums about it.
Are you stalking me?
That’s super creepy. Here’s a tip. If you don’t like me, don’t waste your time responding. Guess what, there are people here that are far more active than I am. Yesterday was the first day in a while I was back here.
It amazes me that that’s still what you think I said. I didn’t say you sucked for liking the Genesis. Not once. I didn’t say you sucked for buying a knockoff. Not once.
I said the knockoffs broke down easily and made of poor technology. And you somehow still think that’s a personal attack on you and your likes. Speaking of giving opinions based on your feelings.
Yeah, I still don’t believe the daughter you conveniently came up with for sympathy exists. Deal with it. It’s the internet.
And if they can keep it over in the Classic forums specifically set aside for that purpose and stop trying to force their opinion on retail players that’d be great.
“So like, I have issues, so like, I had a bad time, so like no one should waste their time because like, I said so.” We get it, stop repeating yourself and stop looking for pity.
And no, the last I recall, you shoved another one of your opinions at me when I didn’t ask for it. So yes, I am going to respond to you. I get a notification on these threads, it just happens to be you shoving your beliefs in every ones face over and over and over again. Find something else to do and stop over valuing yourself.
I haven’t bothered with you since yesterday. My last response on this thread was to Stril, certainly not to you.
You get a notification on these threads when anyone responds. That’s how they work. You’re the one who chose to respond to me with your “forced opinion.”
