…welp, so much for my Druid picking that covenant. I don’t want to chase after that woman cause she’s doing some kind of reckless dark ritual/hear her yelling “Malfurion my love!” for however many hours it takes to finish the Shadowlands expansion. You know I usually have alot of sympathy for even NPCs that other people find annoying. But I just can’t with that woman.
I doubt she’s going to be willing to talk to you, Horde.
Have fun not having Pathfinder.
Also, if you think her story in Shadowlands focuses around Malfurion, you have another thing coming.
Look on the bright side: if she’s in the Shadowlands and we have to break her out of the Maw, it might mean that she dies while we’re cleaning up the Scourge.
Does this look like my Druid to you? Besides it wasn’t on Horde that you have to go find her while she’s off doing something childish and wreckless.
“You Horde, we have had our differences in the past. For now…we shall put then aside to stop the banshee”

Cenarius is cited as a prominent character in the zone, like Uther, Draka and Kael’thas in the other areas.
That’s an interesting thought higher in the thread that maybe Tyrande’s questline will end up being alliance-only.
It might make sense. In the current state of affairs, I find it hard to imagine Tyrande working with the Horde player character. That would be very odd. Unlike the spirits of the Shadowlands, she is not likely to disregard the factions.
If so, it would not be the main story of the zone.
But my Druid is Alliance
Yeah, but it’s still an interesting thought.
If it’s not the main Covenant storyline, you might be able to avoid it, I suppose.
Where did you learn this?
They never said he’s going to be there, only that Cenarius was there after he was killed by grom during wc3 and then was reborn during cata.
My comment was just from memory, I was looking at the wowhead summary a while back. I guess the exact wording is “a famous soul aligned with the Covenant.”
Cenarius is the one mentioned for that zone. But I don’t know what that means, concretely. Whether or not he is physically there.
Someone was talking about it on the forums today.
Here’s the interview:
Dead I hope the Horde should be able to kill something on the Alliances leader list.
I noticed news saying she’d be in Ardenweald in a wowhead thing. I’m really looking forward to it because according to the article (spoilers-ish?) there’s supposed to be some more info about Elune and some great lore stuff learned.
I’m just glad shes in a position where she can Actually maybe find out whats going on and maybe find out how to help the spirits stuck in the maw. She’d have never been able to have an arc like this without being able to go to the Shadowlands and hearing it from the source.
Thanks, I don’t believe that I had seen that specific interview before.
So basically something in Ardenweald, maybe some revelation concerning Elune, nothing very specific.
That interview does make it sound like it will be part of the core story of the zone, but not in a way that is entirely conclusive. It will be interesting to see if her quests are faction neutral. They might have to be, given the overall structure of these zones.
That would be a little forced, given the circumstances, but it certainly wouldn’t be the first time.
I don’t mind working with and helping the other faction. My main concern with Tyrande is giant reminders about how bad the Horde is. My faction pride is dead. Don’t need a reminder why.
Oh I don’t mind working with the other faction either…Tyrande is a speacial case.
Yeah I’m pretty excited for Ardenweald and Tyrande’s story. I’m really curious how she’ll interact with Horde. I doubt there will be anything faction specific in Shadowlands, except perhaps the starting quest for the xpac.
