Really. Nothing else to say. 5th time I uninstall the game out of frustration because of this.
I hope I’ll stay strong this time and never come back to wow.
Both on my main tank and dps alt I got NOTHING good from the vault, having only 2 pieces of myth on my dps and only 1 on my tank. On all other slots I have hero gear, all 3 weekly chests myth 10+ level and I again I got nothing usable: it dropped the same slot gear and crafted gear. INCREDIBLE bad luck ? Or incredibly bad system ?
3rd week in a row. NOTHING. I buy just the sockets and I don’t even have gear to put it on.
All the work to get 3 myth chests on 2 chars for nothing. I’m 46 years old. I’m working. I don’t have time to grind. I can play 1-2 hours every evening and I dedicated all my time to grind the 3 myth loot boxes, with the horrible LFG system and again got nothing.
This is beyond frustrating and at this point I understand maybe wow is not the right game for me.
I hope I’ll be strong and never come back. Never back here on forums either.
End of story. Bye
If you really lack the willpower to quit on your own, you can always ask Blizzard to delete your battle.net account. Maybe having to start all over will finally allow you to let it all go.
If you only have a few pieces of Mythic gear, then you have a lot of slots that can benefit from crafted gear. Just grab the half spark each time you don’t get a piece of gear and every 2 weeks you can have a piece of gear for the slot you want with the stats you want.
It’s really not difficult to figure this aspect of the game out.
You are attaching your happiness to things beyond your control. Attach your happiness to things like learning the game better, playing better, and making good friends. Over time, the rest will take care of itself.
Oh boy, you’d absolutely hate doing BRD runs in classic for pre-bis then.
If you only care about loot maybe go play an ARPG, something like Last Epoch so you can set a loot filter and get tons of uber shinies to fill that dopamine itch
But if the story is sincere, it sounds like you need to recalibrate your expectations a little so that you can enjoy the fun when RNG rolls in your favour instead of fixating on the disappointment when it doesn’t?
it used to be all of the really good gear dropped in raids. Now, for some people, they rely on the free gear that falls out of the vault. Gear that’s dependent on content that you’re already doing that’s not dropping in the content that you’re doing and ironically, not dropping in the vault either. Welcome to the carrot on a stick where the carrot is actually plastic.
Bruh. I do one +10 a week (sometimes I skip, didn’t feel like it last week) and call it a day, why are you burning yourself out like this? Are you in a top 1% raiding guild?
I also only play one character - I’ve got a family and full time job. You really need to understand your limits.
I’m not really an expert in this kind of field so take my opinion for what it is, but this sounds like more of an underlying issue.
If you’re not having fun, don’t play. It’s a game, after all, spend your time doing something you enjoy. If you’re treating a game with the same obligation as a job, is it really a game anymore?
I get it, I’ve been guilty of uninstalling a game out of frustration and reinstalling it once I cooled my head, but it sounds like more of a hassle than anything to repeat the song and dance half a dozen times. Especially if it’s WoW’s size.
