Uninstall for now. Take a breather and break. The game will always be here incase you do decide to return.
The vault can be hit and miss and I much prefer currency systems of sorts.

RNG is RNG. The vault itself is quite good.
If you’re not having fun getting the vault options then don’t do them. Don’t do something you don’t find fun.
Don’t start with this crap. I know a person with a full time job and a newborn baby who still manages to fill their vault. You can find time if you want to.
You’re playing the wrong genre then, MMOs are all about the grind.
Good riddance, don’t need another man-baby around here anyway =)

It is RNG. The vault and loot from raids, M+, Delves and dungeons are not guaranteed. If you are looking for that, you are playing the wrong game.
Sounds as if you are looking for some sort of currency that drops from each kill that you can use like a vending machine to select gear you want.
I will repeat this until the very end of things, but badges were a perfectly fine system to allow you to get guaranteed gear over time if RNG, rolls or loot priorities just weren’t in your favor.
I don’t mind the Vault, I think it’s good to have a shot at an upgrade when all other shots are used, but just getting Badges, going, "I’d like this piece of gear please thanks 
" and going about your day worked perfectly fine.

I didn’t mind badges either.
I’ve been around since vanilla, so I’ve seen all kinds of systems come and go and some I like better than others.

I don’t run m+, but this is exactly what I did. Except for 4-p tier/neck/cloak/trinkets, everything is crafted at 636. This also let me choose the stats I want, eschewing stats like vers. I didn’t even have to buy the sparks, since I had enough built up over the season and instead just trade the 45 runed for 15 gilded. I’m actually pretty content with how this worked out.

It’s bait to keep you playing a game you don’t want to play, always has been.
All of you who are logged on and focused on filling up your vault slots instead of just having fun have been had.

That’s the crafting system.
Badges were also, for the majority of their lifetime, a set item pool that didn’t contain raid or dungeon items and were often outright worse or only covered the most irrelevant of slots like cloaks and wands.
Can I have your gold?
Take the first letter of each of those words and use them to form a single word. You’ll understand why it’s not the friendliest thing.

I see you aren’t aware that that exact phrase is a code phrase for the word that its first letters stand for, a slur that would get either of us forum banned for spelling it out. Look. It. Up.

Yeah not worth doing M+ for the vault system but its been place for a long time and has worked mostly, some of us are just unlucky and we have to work harder than most others.
Back in vanilla I couldn’t get get a full set of teir gear in MC Or bwl but the game was still fun. I’m sorry things aren’t happy for you but I do hope you find a game you will enjoy.
I really hate how terrible the alchemy trinket is this expansion. A 636 is worse than my 619 detachable fang that the game just refuses to let me replace.
This reminds me of when people delete their Facebook accounts and always send you a friend request two weeks later.

It would need to be the 623 version of your trinket to be better than a 636 stone but yeah that’s still not great.
