also my stack of t1 engraved gemcutters, and whimsical wiring. those last two were small stacks so i dont care… but losing over 60 amber hurts. i didnt move/use/trash or sell them. there were in my inventory, then i disconnected when trying to buying ironpaw tokens from krystel (bug report filed), and when i logged back in my gems were gone.
I’d suggest the usual suspects first:
- Exit game, delete the cache folder in your retail folder
- Do a full UI reset (you aren’t deleting anything, just renaming folders)
If that doesn’t work, then I’d suggest moving this to the Customer Support forum and asking if it’s just a bug report or if you should file a ticket.

I can understand your concern with vanishing items. Just think about the thousands of players that lost 95% and more of their GUILD BANK inventory. That happened during a patch. Blizzard acknowledged they KNEW ABOUT IT and had the bug fixed very quickly. Then they gave out stacks of wool and silk cloth from Classic wow, as an apology. Little things like this will eventually come back to bite them in the pocketbook.

I assume they were in your reagent bag? I encountered this a couple of times in DF with stacks of azureweave bolts and other crafting materials. Sometimes relogging helped, sometimes the items would just reappear after after an hour or two. At least the items always returned after a bit though.

I created a ticket the first two or three times it happened, but the items would always reappear before the ticket got to a GM. Hopefully you get your items back soon.
