I just got kicked from a raid because I wouldn't "flash gold"

So I joined a BT run last night and was excited! I am full prebis and ready to go on my rogue, the raid leader whispered me when we all zoned in “50k flash plz” I was confused and asked what he meant. He called me a “stupid noob” and proceeded to kick my rogue. What the freak is this?

This is exactly why we shouldn’t have LFD.

He wanted a flash for 50k gold. Show a bit of skin and you could have been rich.

It was a GDKP run, you were asked to flash gold becuase “prebis” is not good enough for a BT run and you were being carried, so he was confirming you actually had gold to buy items and weren’t just there to leach.

They assumed he was buying Glaives Or only wanted Rogues that were buying Glaives.

You just hurt my head.

We also shouldn’t have Dual Spec because a Rogue might get kicked from a Naxx10 run for not having a healing or tanking spec.

he is talking about a gdkp and its their rules i dont feel bad at all for him

but this shows you why you need lfd.

woah woah woah!! We need this kind of social interaction!! LFD is toxic… it 100% is never the players.

no more toxic then flashing your gold in a gkdp or get kicked every aspect of wow can be toxic nor just lfd.

The only reason a rogues allowed into raids is if they’re buying glavies. You were too poor.

people queuing up and getting their dungeons done is a better social experience then waiting an hour to for a group then have problems in the group.

you can’t ignore the fact that even with lfd you will run into issues. I saw this yesterday and found it pretty funny.

Thanks man, I haven’t laughed out loud that hard in weeks. The tone-deafness is real.

The take away from this would be.
If that healer Queue’d specifically for Oculus - they would never have gotten a group.
They were able to leave the dungeon and return to where they were. Without hearthing.
The player (Tank) was the toxic person for leaving, not the system.
