I just dont get it

:man_shrugging:

We were asking that as soon as we saw alpha, especially when Blizzard came out and said “wait till classes has everything before speculating on their state” (paraphrased).

Classes should feel complete without any additional borrowed power systems imo, borrowed power should just be the cherry on top that further enhances the class.

You can still play the borrowed power game, but you NEED to have the core classes be well designed. If the player logs on and finds their character feeling awful, IF Blizzard is lucky, the player will reroll. Or, they could drop the expansion. I’ve only come back recently thanks to Shadow’s mistreatment.

Borrowed power is neat, as it’s a way to sample the powers of any given region. But Blizzard is using borrowed power as a crutch to hold up bad class design. That doesn’t work if the player rage quits before they can even grind out their class’s core tools.

Yeah I can understand this, like i said classes especially some like spriest needs some more core baseline focus, when things are bad borrowed power just isnt enough to fix it.

Some classes are fine and borrowed powers covers that hole well, but some others have too many problems to be fixed by borrowed power.

That maybe true, but the question is “when will they have time?”

I think they bit off more they can chew with how they wanted to make the changes for Shadowlands, like the class identity thing which just feels thrown ontop rather than actually being built around, so you just have the same old specs with mostly unusable abilities thrown back.

I think they didn’t set a reasonable timeframe (or more correctly, just didn’t realise how kuch work it would be) for what they wanted to accomplish, and now they are being forced to take shortcuts.

That said they do seem to be going back to the classes that need the most attention, which is more than they said they were going to do.

seem like a lot of excuses to justify your own behavior while you berate and attack others for also being annoyed and frustrated with the new systems. why was it ok for you to be upset with them before, but it isn’t okay for others to be so now?

it’s hypocritical and the you that made those posts would be just as upset with the “external power” being added in SL now. you said youd quit if they kept up with external power, and now you’re championing it. you’re just trolling.

Sounds like you arent able to comprehend some levels of argument above simple “I dont like x systems, that means you hate all systems else you are a hypocrite”

Which isnt surprising, many tryhards dont even understand WHY Ion says some things fail and believe he agreed with them when his reasoning is literally the opposite.

Because my reasons were very specifically aimed on the RNG part of corruption which got fixed with the vendor, meanwhile covenants are not rng, you choose what you get

Kind of an enormous bulging difference there ;^)

Do you like grinding AP yes or no?
