I just cant with content creators

Nixxiom
Soulbreezy
Wowcrendor
Wowhead
And many more.

They all have alpha access…every…single…one.

All they want is to show off how cool the new expansion is. As someone who wants access I thought about it and. I want the dragon isles and the new features to be a surprise to me. I want that “WoW” feeling (pun intended) back when i get to finally experience it for myself. I dont know, maybe with my new pc build soonish ill stream dragonflight.

The problem with most content creators is they don’t actually contribute anything to the Alpha or Beta process.

Just don’t watch them.

Just do what reasonable people do and ignore them.

Or at the very least don’t advertise for them for free.

Im not.

As a matter of fact i unsubbed and blocked their channels. I want no spoilers.

Once the “shiny” wears off they’ll all be back to trash talking WoW and the devs and stirring the pot. Hopefully the free advertisement is worth the damage they do.

you’ll be fine without being in the alpha i’m sure :revolving_hearts:

make sure you sign up for beta though

(for the record, i believe alpha is actually used to generate hype to a certain degree…that’s why it’s given out to high profile folks) :100:

Yeah it sucks that they’re just using the alpha to generate hype yet again, but it’s hardly new.

Wowcrendor still makes content?

Sure they do. Viewers on streams are extra sets of eyes who can spot things the player might miss. I’ve seen this happen more than once. But mostly it just gets info out to the wider community which gives massive amounts of feedback on stuff in development.

I thought most of these guys didn’t make content anymore, at least WoW content.

Nixon is doing ESO/SWTOR last I checked.

Rent free. That is the hold they have resulting in this even being posted.

The first time I got beta access I was excited but ultimately I ended up feeling exactly the same as you, OP. It’s nice to see what to expect in the expansion, especially cool art and stuff. But for the most part actually playing it and watching other people play it is pointless because it kinda ruins your enjoyment for the expansion when it’s actually released.

Lol…sorry, laughing hysterically because he actually made a video several years ago saying is he quitting wow for good.

But yes, he actually interviewed Ion a few days ago.

I do not see why anyone cares about alpha or beta access. Heck I want the dungeon journal removed and internal testing only. That way we can hopefully be spoiler free like a good mmo.

edit: All I want to know is when are Dracthyr going to be playable if they get green lit before launch.

Huh? Can’t open youtube after having searched wow without being spammed with low effort clickbait.

Ff14 is dang good about that.

They have inhouse testers that test every single quest, pvp, and dungeons/raids.

You dont see any videos showing gameplay.

We are left spoiler free. Shadowlands and BFA i didnt care about spoilers.

Yet i have some hope left for dragonflight.

They’ll most likely be playable in pre-patch like the DH and Allied races and i wasn’t around for monk or dk but am sure they were playable pre-patch as well if you already have the DF expansion

Your fault for ignoring the plethora of extensions to block channels by name. I do that myself to block known spoiler channels for series I read.

Besides aren’t you the one to usually chime in peoples failings in WoW are because of their lack of initiative and usage of existing tools?

Yea I am hoping that is the case.
