Im tired of seeing nothing but trash talking threads on here. If I make a positive thread? I will get 8 responses tops. Yet someone makes a “the sky is falling” thread? It gets 150 responses in an hour! Just straight up depressing!
Im still having fun in WoW. To me thats all that matters. They day I stop having fun? I will unsub. I dont pay for things I dont enjoy. Could the game be better? Yes hands down. But so could my life and everything else. Things can always be better. At the end of the day it is what it is. You either deal with it? or Walk away.
Regardless of choices Blizzard has made lately. Im still having fun. So here I am, 15 years later still paying for my sub due to that. Who else is still enjoying the game?
The forum has always been negative but it’s never been this horrible. Players are just different than they used to be. Players today go out of their way to find something to be furious about. If these players truly disliked the game as much as they claim they wouldn’t be here anymore.
Thankfully Blizzard finally stopped allowing players without time to post here on the forum, so now we at least we’ll have that much less negativity and trolling.
Just keep enjoying the game and surround yourself with players who are positive and don’t dwell on negatives in everything.
God I loved that show Qamaits. Welcome back Kotter and Get Smart were always my two favs on Nick at Night back in the day. Anyone remember the orange couch and snick!?
When I stopped doing things I didn’t want to or feel like doing, it became a lot more fun. I am in a casual guild that focuses more on having a good time and including people than pushing the bleeding edge of content. We usually only raid normal, dabble a bit in heroic, m10-12 is typically the highest we go. I feel like we have a bit more fun, though.
I don’t do islands or warfronts (unless someone asks me to help) and don’t feel like I have to. I do dailies and WQ when I feel like it, or when I have a goal in mind.
There’s a lot of things in bfa that aren’t my favorite, but overall I’m still enjoying it because of my friends.
Oh, yeah. I’ve already logged onto three of my accounts, excluding this one, that are not linked and have no time. I got the same message on those three accounts plus this one yesterday. So lets stop pretending.
There have been so many disappointments and bad decisions made by Blizzard that morale is probably lower than I’ve ever seen it. It’s been one punch to the gut after another for last year or so, and we barely get time to recover a bit from one and then we are hit by another.
It’s difficult to remain cheerful and upbeat when the atmosphere is gloomy.
People respond more to “troll” type threads, by definition that is the intent of such threads
Someone can make a clever, well thought out post that gets no noise. Meanwhile, someone can just parade out the “Why no LBGTQ/Thing Characters?” and then get huge follow up posts.
