When it comes to Elves facing off against a Big Major Elf Villain within the Warcraft Lore. I much would rather see Alleria Windrunner finally have some of the spotlight back again as well as Vereesa Windrunner making a Return to see Jaina and Vereesa be together as Friends since Mists as Official Alliance Elf Leaders than seeing 10 Thousand Year Old Grumpy Grandma with Black Eyes being the Official Alliance Elf Leader for the strike against Naga within 8.2.
When has Tyrande done anything good within WoW or become a Better Representative of the Alliance? Last time She done something was Nighthold and We Alliance folk had to be forced to help Tyrande out of the Time barrier instead of helping out Vereesa.
I really hope that doesn’t happen again where we Alliance players get to be forced to help Tyrande out of a Time Barrier by Azshara while leaving Jaina behind. I really don’t want go through that again.
In what insane clown world does Alleria or Vereesa make more sense as Queen Azshara’s opponent than Tyrande, or Farondis, or even Thalyssra? I can’t think of a single pair of elves with a weaker link to the naga.
Alleria Windrunner has the Void so does the Azshara. Plus Alleria and Vereesa are High Elves who are the Quel’dorei related from the Highborne who were once Highborne Night Elf.
To be fair I much would rather see Shandris and Farondis getting the Spotlight than Tyrande. How many times have we seen Tyrande? Like the Million Times already from Legion and now BFA. Atleast WoD was a good break in between Mop and Legion.
Uhh … what? Look, I buy that the Kul Tirans are going to be involved to start out with. They’re the ones literally falling through the map. But the idea that the NEs WONT be involved in a major way against Azshara of ALL people is absolutely absurd.
TBH, with the knowledge that its going to be Lor’themar majorly involved in this next leg of the Horde’s story, all I need is Thalyssra to get a potent part and I’ll be happy. I’m actually even totally game with Nathanos being involved (the idea of the perpetual Curmudgeon Nathanos playing buddy-cop with the Sassiest of Men (Lor’themar) is just too potentially fun to ignore). However, the Alliance should be fronted by the NEs (and to a lesser degree) the Kul Tirans. It shouldn’t be any other way…
If Alliance is going to have Night Elf Characters it should be Shandris, Farondis, and Maiev leading the Charge against Azshara.
When was the Last Time all 3 Night Elf Characters had some Important Relevant Stuff besides God Power Mary Sue Night Warrior takes most of the spotlight with her cringe.
This expansion is like the last oportunity to redeem night elves as a race, if they fail to do so here they will be pathetic forever. Tyrande must be present. I think some main night elf characters should be there since most of they are contemporary to Azshara.
Despite no two individuals having a greater relevance to Azshara’s story, would Tyrande and Malfurion redirect their focus and forces from Darkshore to deal with Azshara? Perhaps if it happens near and around Teldrassil and Darkshore. Just curious. I have no stakes either way. I suppose I could see them splitting up.

That is if the Horde doesn’t retake Darkshore again. Because all of that Threaten on leaving the Alliance over some Shore instead of something like Ashenvale would probably make Tyrande feel more of hypocrite plus already unlikeable as she is now.

It will never not be strange to me that they just casually threw one of the most influential characters in WoW into a blink and you’ll miss it quest.
Well to answer your first question. When was the Last time Alleria did anything at all in this Expansion aside of Battle for Lordaeron and of course just siting on a boat just handing out Updates and stuff.
Kind of sad really. Warcraft 2 Character is now a Prop than doing something relevant that is related to something of the Void or just give Void Elves some Lore that isn’t just One Character name Umbric atleast something interesting going on.
Why does one character being inactive mean that they deserve to be active in a fight where a more satisfying character should be used?
That’s like if during Legion, I said I’ve seen too much of Illidan, and I’d rather see Ji Firepaw on Argus. It really just sounds like you don’t like Tyrande so you decided to make a QQ post about it.
Besides, Alleria got a great chunk of 7.3 and the Void Elf quest to be active. I think she’ll manage sitting on the sidelines for Tyrande’s involvement.
