i didn’t claim that, i claimed they broke promises about elemental shamans being reworked. I dont even know the technical numbers for the lay off on community based things like e-sports i thought that was 800. But i never said anything about it.
The lay-offs were 800 employees, and then they closed the offices in France which was ~200-300 employees.
While I didn’t pay for Shadowlands, the pre-patch event traditionally has come at the end of the previous expansion. Everyone at that point has access to it.
So while he is incorrect in saying his Shadowlands purchase paid for it, those of us who purchased BfA paid for it. We got recycled content, bugged and in some cases unusable (Korrak’s the first week, when nobody could queue).

As I said its a source about as old as shaowlands blizzcon announcement. I’d have to dig through so much just to find it. But the current reason to why they decided to break it was it felt the same even though it didn’t look the same. That was about… eh a month or three before the first prepatch. But again someone will have such information on the shaman threads.
Ele has been changed a bit. It’s not overhauled the way warlocks are every expansion, but ele is in a good place.
