I didn’t notice many changes before prepatch other than a few extra spells. Wheres searing totem? Where’s the removal of the maelstrom bar, where was the flameshock spread going back to normal? Like the playstyle and rotation reverted from not having to worry about spending maelstorm to bfa mechanics.

i’m angry that the promise was that the caster spec shouldn’t have to be a spender spec and they would rework it to make before the changes to where lava blast was your main focus. Its no longer the case. I had 3 classes i had planned playing. Elemental shamans, Demo warlocks, and shadow priests.
It means things like Social Security, which you must pay for whether you need it or not.

Because as far as I’m aware, every damage spec in the game is designed around needing to build resources to use on stronger abilities.

As for if people are on site, or off site. Doesn’t matter, COVID has impacted a synergy that exists in an office place. You can’ t just talk to Colleague 1 and 2 over your cubicle. You need to arrange a meeting, or try to. Stop speaking for the masses and speak for yourself. It will likely get more buy-in. Right now, you just seem entitled.

Used to be the mage class as a whole till arcane charges were introduced. So I guess Fire? Elemental never had to worry about it which made it so fun. Keep lava blast on cd and use other spells in between. Lots of freedom and was fun.

Someone already asked me if I had a defense for other things (WoD) which I didn’t, it sucked. I have no issues calling them out for their mistakes, I just personally believe this time they were in a bad situation and had to rush something out to give people something to even do at all.
i’ve heard it both ways from family members who worked for IBM and microsoft in the mid 80’s to early 90’s so idk what to tell you.
Oh no they did promised it. But they couldn’t make the rework actually work without having the same feeling of BFA that the shaman community was upset about. So because they only made it worse they reverted it. I’m unhappy that they couldn’t just make it before legion rework. Which was kinda of the intention they were going for. Literally go visit the shaman class page.

That wasn’t freedom, that was locked into a rotation with 4 abilities, with no effort needed to manage your damage output, ontop of more limited burst potential then what we have now:

Kinda of how like every melee class is at this point. But building up maelstrom to use a weak earth shock is so infuriating. Elemental pvp has been in such a bad place for years.
