I have your solution

Seventeen is the number of multiboxers I have counted on my server. in Classic. Not one person multiboxing 17 toons. I mean 17 different sets. So many that I sometimes see two or three separate groups running pst eachother. Thats jut the Alliance side.

I think Blizzard should make it to where players can ONLY multibox on a certain group of servers and have a big red M in a gold circle over it next to the server name to let people know that there is selfish tyrant… oh sorry I mean a multiboxer on that server.

And the worst part, so many of these people have no idea how to control their set. When I did it I was skilled and left people alone I didnt accidently say high with 50 toons in trade chat (maybe it wasnt an accident)

But I would have a small set of 4 toons only. That doesn’t get in anyone’s way.

And on those server, that have the re M with a gold circle around it, they can multiboxing and use follow anywhere in the game.

And if I were the head game designer I would add in that system and then my say they have up to 30 days to transfer all of their toons off of the servers onto the crappy servers set aside just for them. And then if they do not comply then make it a ban able offense.

They can afford to move their toons off.

I saw a multiboxer with level 41 toons and he spread all across the zone at every mine node and was just spawn camping the mine nodes, while his main toon was running around and playing. How is that not an exploit? I was told back many years ago in a live chat I had about a GM with it that you are not allowed to multibox using your toons with a greater distance away from eachother than they can /follow. You know why? Becuase it is 100% impossible to get your toons to those exact positions all at the same time without using a bot program.

So with my solution, everyone would be happy.

You would know where they were and if they went to any other server that was not set up for it, they would get their account banned.

But. this will never happen. Why? Becuase its all about the money.

But my solution would generate more money in the long run.
And in any non multiboxing server, I would make /follow be removed from the game for those servers.

And I would also ban multiboxers that spawn camp node sites at that is entirely 100% impossible to do what I saw without using a bot program.

And I would do the same for retail too. I would have them go to servers such as Scilla.

And I would put them in Smolderweb and Kirnaxx for Classic.

Those are all servers that no one has ever even heard of and that would solve the problem.

Those 3 servers and that would be it. One in retail, two for classic. And remove all CRZ for Scilla. I’m willing to bet the majority of the player base didnt even know Scilla existed until I mentioned it to you now.

So. my solution, PROBLEM SOLVED

Why are you so jealous of other people?

are you saying 17 multiboxers on classic? or 17 on retail, none on classic?

Rofl. I made a MBer mad.

I actually have multiboxing toons. I have several hundred toons spread all across my accounts. 397 to be exact until I removed some of my accounts recently

I don’t get why people defend this so much. Just because it’s allowed? “let other people play the way they want”? I mean, you gotta specifically not care about prices of stuff I guess.

I used to help sell and promote Pwnboxer

Players are now using it in classic to exploit. They are running bot programs in addition to do it.

That makes sense. Any player on Retail also has access to classic, so all the multiboxxers can multibox on classic as well. And there are less classic servers than retail servers so more multiboxxers should be on each server.

heh

Probably wasn’t lol

Well that will never happen lol

And of course there’s no screenshot of that

How do you know he did? How do you know he didn’t run them there 1 by 1?

Not multiboxxers

Because there’s no reason for it

How would you have seen a guy with 40 characters move them all to 40 different nodes without you yourself also having 40 characters and following all 40 of his characters?

So you’re a boxer, who wants all boxers to be forced onto some boxer only servers, so you can continue to stealth box (due to your L337 B0X0RZ skills) on non boxer only servers, cause you never bothered anyone…

Hah!

I can come to your server and begin multiboxing my 5 full aid group set up if you want. Then you will change your mind. I can show you just how bad it is. it is getting terrible in Classic now.

EVERY node in the zone gone, by one group of level 41 multiboxing mages who sit /afk next to the nodes while he plays on his main toon and floods the AH with ores and singlehandedly changes the servers economy in classic.

I am saying I saw 17 different sets so far in Classic. ALL nodes are gone.

And then a bunch of them are new to multiboxing so they dont know that Holinka removed .follow in battlegrounds years ago, so you have 10 join your BG and they are unable to function. and guess hat… they are on our team… that i san instant loss for you as they are unable to move anywhere.

So you’re jealous because you aren’t involved?

No. I quit. it is lame and boring and takes ZERO skill.

I boosted 4 shams to top level, and I had a friend in full epics healing me.
I sat there in green gear and was tearing apart epic geared players. That is 8 wolves, 4 elementals and you can kill ANY player with one hit just by having all four target that one player. You can clear out a 5v5 in about 30 seconds flat using multibxers.

I knew of a shaman who would do 4 vs 40 in PvP I can post videos of it. You one shot 100% of every player that you come across, it is entirely 100% impossible to stop or fight against.

Because I have done that in PvP. You can instant cast heal your entire group back together,

Any one of you could get a full mythic raid group togher and A multiboxer could clear you out using awful green gear.

It is mathematically impossible fight against.

Thats what the mage that I saw was doing. He was not using /follow.

When I multibox I never join into a battleground and lose it for the entire team because /follow has been disabled.

I dont spawn camp nodes while my main goes out nd plays. I dont run in jerky, shaky motions where I am walking in the air to mine nodes and then taking the nodes. That is BOT, no player moves like that, or does that.

If they are botting report them so they can be banned :man_shrugging:

There’s nothing wrong with JUST multiboxxing though and I’m under the impression that you’re saying you want multiboxxers quarantined/banned as well.

No. I dont like the BOT boxers. They are ruining the game.

I know for a fact these people are bot boxers becuase you cannot run in the air to a mine node. Maybe you think it is possible, but it it not. I am here to tell you that that IS an exploit.

You can tell who is bot boxing right off the bat. if they run in jerky motions and a few steps forward, one step back, few forward, one back, the EXACT same movement pattern I see the spamming bots do when they are on Illdan and make a level 1 toon to spam in trade chat.

What does multi box mean again?

Oh yeah, you can throw those guys in the trash.

I am willing to bet you made the ban multiboxer thread

Multiboxing refers to playing as multiple separate characters concurrently by either using multiple separate machines to run the game or by running multiple separate instances of the game.
