Seventeen is the number of multiboxers I have counted on my server. in Classic. Not one person multiboxing 17 toons. I mean 17 different sets. So many that I sometimes see two or three separate groups running pst eachother. Thats jut the Alliance side.
I think Blizzard should make it to where players can ONLY multibox on a certain group of servers and have a big red M in a gold circle over it next to the server name to let people know that there is selfish tyrant… oh sorry I mean a multiboxer on that server.
And the worst part, so many of these people have no idea how to control their set. When I did it I was skilled and left people alone I didnt accidently say high with 50 toons in trade chat (maybe it wasnt an accident)
But I would have a small set of 4 toons only. That doesn’t get in anyone’s way.
And on those server, that have the re M with a gold circle around it, they can multiboxing and use follow anywhere in the game.
And if I were the head game designer I would add in that system and then my say they have up to 30 days to transfer all of their toons off of the servers onto the crappy servers set aside just for them. And then if they do not comply then make it a ban able offense.
They can afford to move their toons off.
I saw a multiboxer with level 41 toons and he spread all across the zone at every mine node and was just spawn camping the mine nodes, while his main toon was running around and playing. How is that not an exploit? I was told back many years ago in a live chat I had about a GM with it that you are not allowed to multibox using your toons with a greater distance away from eachother than they can /follow. You know why? Becuase it is 100% impossible to get your toons to those exact positions all at the same time without using a bot program.
So with my solution, everyone would be happy.
You would know where they were and if they went to any other server that was not set up for it, they would get their account banned.
But. this will never happen. Why? Becuase its all about the money.
But my solution would generate more money in the long run.
And in any non multiboxing server, I would make /follow be removed from the game for those servers.
And I would also ban multiboxers that spawn camp node sites at that is entirely 100% impossible to do what I saw without using a bot program.
And I would do the same for retail too. I would have them go to servers such as Scilla.
And I would put them in Smolderweb and Kirnaxx for Classic.
Those are all servers that no one has ever even heard of and that would solve the problem.
Those 3 servers and that would be it. One in retail, two for classic. And remove all CRZ for Scilla. I’m willing to bet the majority of the player base didnt even know Scilla existed until I mentioned it to you now.
So. my solution, PROBLEM SOLVED
