I have your solution

No I didnt because I do it.

I just do not use it to exploit.

But I quit doing it.

I have over a dozen guilds that are better than this that I will post

So BOT boxing is what I am against and NOTHING is being done to stop it.

DH Toon has 3 exact duplicates, level from multiboxing all progress on it is shared 3 times, titles and all and ALL from MB so saying that I dont do it and am jealous because I dont is false.

I have over 15 multiboxing guilds that I made. I used to crash Ashran non stop back in WoD with my old raid group. And the player QQ on the forums about me was absolutely beautiful.

Achievements are not linked across battle net accounts.

Agreed!

“I’m a multiboxer who is a fantastically good player. I have exploited everything anybody could ever imagine in wow. Every other multiboxer is bad, and they all need to be forced off their servers onto one server where only multiboxers can be. But not me, because I’m gud. Really really gud! Those people are the problem.”

Am I doing it right?

I spawn camp nodes in retail on 2 characters on different realms or shards that are not in a group. When the node spawns, the character that sees it invites the other one and they get their drop.

I guess that makes me a botter. Who knew?

It isn’t a matter of defending it so much as it is a matter of who cares? If it doesn’t violate the rules who cares?

Dont need sarcasm.

Ummm…

That’s patently ridiculous.

Each toon is in it’s own window. They can EASILY each be moved to a different spot in the game, and while one toon is being used to play, the other ones could be watching a spot for a node to pop.

Multiboxing doesn’t have to be all about /follow.

Edit: Also, there is no way a GM told you THIS exactly:

You had to have misunderstood something else they were telling you.

Sure we did. It’s right across from the Charybdis server… right?

:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

No. Moving 36 toons all at the same time, ALL to different directions and then he was hovering over the node that i followed him too. And some of them went to where the node used to be but wasnt anymore and did the exact same jerky movement actions.

They are using multiboxing bot software.

So… you SAW him moving all these toons at once?

How were YOU in so many places at once?

And you know how to handle anyone you suspect of botting, right?

Report and move on.

Not all multiboxers are also botters.

I aw them moving from their start point in Goldshire inn and I talked to the guy i try to connect with multiboxers so i followed them until they some of them went out of sight
Hey its not that big of a deal and I really dont care anymore. I just want the BOT boxers banned they are ruining my economy they were all over Illidan last expac where they would walk thru the air and thru the mountain to all get to a same exact spot.

But the thing is actual players seem to own these accounts. Bot boxing is very unethical and i dont see why you go out of your way to support it

Or, and this is a bit of a crazy idea but hear me out, we could just… not change rules that have been in place for over 15 years and just accept that some people multibox and learn how to deal with them!

Everybody has different amounts of money and spending power.

Again, if you suspected this was automation of some sort, then report him.

However, you’ve given nothing here that actually suggests it.

You’re also claiming knowledge that ONLY Blizzard could have (he moved 36 toons to different places on the map and did X).

I’m not saying I know how he does what he does but I wouldn’t run straight to “he’s botting!” the minute I saw it, and it certainly can’t be inferred by the little “evidence” you’ve given.

Yeah, that’s how it’s always been. I get that multiboxers can be frustrating, but they’re not really causing problems that don’t already exist in the game.

The only ones that frustrate me are the druids constantly farming Zin’anthid, and even that I can’t get too angry about. If they have the resources to have that many active accounts and the ability to play them at once without breaking any rules, they should be allowed to do it.

And they are. That’s just the way it is.

Toons RUNNING in the air does not suggest a bot? Then what dos? Cuz I box and they are making it worse for ME

/follow in battlegrounds was NOT removed b/c of multiboxing, it was removed to combat bots. Cuz I got title ratings in 5s on my boosted shams in GREEN boosted gear and that was the very last season that we had 5s in wow so I got lucky being able to get in for one season.

Multitboxed 4 shams and my frined was the epic geared priest healer. So saying i DONT box is a lie cuz I do,

What problem?

No, it doesn’t. You could have seen a server glitch. Something where you thought it looked like they were in the air, but it was just a graphical glitch.

BOTTING is an issue. However, shunting all multiboxers to certain servers does NOT solve anything, and in fact limits player agency, which Blizz is big on trying to preserve.

Yes it does.

I multibox and I am telling you that what I saw was entirely 100% impossible to do.

As I said before am against bot boxxing which is ruing my servers economy as they can do it 24/7 365.

How could you honestly go around and say that is not a bot when it is running in the air o its target.

Bot boxing is why I am now no longer able to /follow in battlegrounds I cant even do it in classic. You obviously support botting s you say it does not exist and no actions needs to be taken to stop it.

yeah this is ridiculous and needs blizzard attention!

I explained that you may not have actually seen that, that it may have been a server glitch.

What I’ve been trying to explain to you is you have only ONE recourse here:

REPORT AND MOVE ON.

IF they are a bot (and there is no way for YOU to know that), Blizz will investigate and deal with them.

But punishing every other NORMAL multiboxer who doesn’t bot is just wrong all around.

It has been going on for years. Blizzard may not be able to do anything. Be very difficult to stop.

There were a LOT of proven false positives in the last botting ban wave where people who were unknowingly associated. with them got banned such as inviting into your guild by spam invites, they get guild access next thing you know the guild bank is getting stacked with matts. And when the ban waves come out, the people in those guilds also got banned.

This happened. Years ago. You or I could get slammed and removed in one of these ban waves. If we were in the guild and pulled from the guild bank the matts that they had stocked in there.
