Nope you’re good. No more using an auction house trick (since certain items are region wide there were some super rare items you could list that you would be the only one and thus use it to transfer gold) for a small fee.

I said this on Day 1 - trading and mailing are two different things. I’m assuming it could be done by those who have two separate accounts by grouping together, but not everyone has that option.
I have done dungeons with characters on non-connected realms (things like helping out a new player to do Stockades for a bit of gold and gear) but if a green item were to drop to me, I couldn’t give it to them. Now it will be possible.

But for the super low fee of $15 a month (or however much gold a token costs) and you can effectively mail to yourself. Seems silly to restrict this only to people willing to pay more. Wasn’t that one of the arguments against multi-boxing.
I am not saying its good or bad, I am only saying what I have observed and how it will work.
And if it is a rather twisty way that Blizzard is tempting people to get second accounts - well, they are a business and making money is the primary goal of any business. Profit is what allows them to keep the game going I guess, right?

So yea the auction house may get wonky now that rich people/ppl with 2 accounts can shop cross realm lol. It’s sort of screwed up though for the people with one account that they can’t send gold to alts. I personally wish I could do crafting orders for my alliance characters on another server group. Since the professions take a bit too long to level up decently for the crafting of weapons/armor.
I’ve had 3 active accounts since vanilla so no worries for me. I just think it’s unfair that I can do it but others can’t, and the only difference is I pay more.

My GM has a second account and I mentioned to her that she would have this ability come the Patch. She was pleased about that and we agreed I could certainly talk to her about getting some stuff to some of my other toons. As I trust her implicitly (we’ve been playing together for years and I consider her a RL friend) that’s a benefit for those who can get help from ingame friends I guess.

ok when is this coming back and what is blizzards defintion of “temporarily” like what is that im guessing like 2 months lmfao ? is this a feature of the game or isnt it.

So will this work with multiple accounts? So if i have 2 accounts under the same email. Can I trade Alliance say gold to a Horde toon on another account, then back to my toon on another realm?? Anyone tried this?? Just Curious?

Once they reenable it yes it will. That’s what I was doing along with bags be fore they disabled cross-realm to fix a problem.
Yes some kind of update would be nice instead of just silence.
Indeed, I’m really annoyed now because I had some stuff to sell which would’ve been a lot easier if I had done it as soon as they enabled it, and I traded a couple, but was too tired, and then disabled for several days; if I had known about this I’d have done all the trading I had to do immediately, what’s worse is that those items are at giveaway risk at the end of the month, so this is a big setback in terms of selling them in time.

I used a friend’s Twitter to contact @BlizzardCS to ask about an update. The reply I got was “No updates as of now. Apologies.”. So who knows how long it will be. 
Oh, yes, I noticed that answer, was hoping they could at least give an estimate on when it could be fixed, but they don’t answer majority of the comments, it was like this also years ago when we were asking them to change the respawn of galleon\oondasta to 15 mins because those bosses had a super low drop rate back then and still had a 2h respawn and were killed really quickly, and it took months until they first answered that question on twitter, despite many people asking.
I’m disappointed I can’t mail stuff to my alts but at least I can trade via my friends. It’s an extra step, so a bit annoying, but still better than it was. I’m leveling my engineering so I just figured out what profession items she needs and will craft what I can and give to a friend to transfer. It still helps me.
Kind of a bummer I can’t do work orders but it will still save me a ton of gold to make other items.
I wouldn’t recommend what I’m doing unless you have very good friends you can trust.

Yes, and generally speaking it’s been in the breaking news as soon as you log the game, at least in eu, since the evening of the first day, exactly where you would normally see shutdown announcements, so as long as we see it there, it’s not fixed, they will promptly take it away when it’s fixed, they do that even if a maintenance ends quicker than they expected.
I don’t care where it’s posted… I just want some kind of timeframe on when it might be resolved. Days, weeks or longer I know they can’t be exact but an estimate would be nice.
