Howdy all! I have a Question about gold trading. I have a lot of gold on Cata and it’s just kinda pileing up lol. I also have WoW Tokens x 10 all paid for with gold which is the cap apperently in Cata.

I was wondering if its against the TOS to trade my Classic gold for Retail gold with a friend or another player? If I’d use the base wow token price conversion, So currently a Cata Token costs 19-21kg and a Retail is 275-285kg

So I could trade a Retail player lets say 20kg Cata gold for 275kg in Retail?

I think I heared people doing this a while back but never new if it was something I could get banned or account action taken for.

Figured I’d ask before going ahead and doing it. :slight_smile: Any help here would be great! Thanks!

Trading gold between versions is allowed, but they won’t help you if you get scammed has been the official blizz policy
