It’s horrible… It feels super slow even on my 120mb internet, not to mention it needs to reload the whole freaking page when we “like” a post…
Not to mention it feels ridiculously polluted.

Really who thought this was a good design? Or even a necessary change for that matter?

Yeah not a fan either… I feel old… why does the world keep changing, why is 20 bucks not enough to buy cool stuff, back then 1 dollar was more than enough to get a 50 cent slurpee and an empanada…Man I feel old.

it’s definitely overwhelming, but i think if you play around on it more, you might find your footing!

Still cant downvote. Endless scrolling. Portraits look worse. Not a fan.

This is all that I miss. I don’t like infinity scrolls as a rule because its hard to figure out where you are.

That being said, I was also worried massive topics (like the AR mega threads) would take a billion years to load but… they don’t. they load FASTER.

They mentioned this that downvoting was getting removed. I don’t think it’s coming back.

It’s alright I guess. I’d just have preffered the old forum style allowed for embedded youtube and imgur links. That would’ve been all I wanted added. Oh and the ability to link in game items like we used to.

The thing I’ve seen is that the new forums track where you last read, and then if you click the topic again, you’re brought back to your last post.

Probably a good thing. It was primarily used as a tool to hide topics that did not agree with the general consensus.

that would be awesome, but forums are a software in and of themselves, so its most likely the software on the back end did not have that capability

This is the worst of it. But like others say it’ll just take time to get used to. The background or the general color scheme could use a change IMO. The old forums had a WoWish feel if that makes sense.
Also you can only see two short posts at once(on my screen at least). Could definitely be more compact
