Also, on PC, there is too much spacing and not enough lines. It’s an overwhelming format for the eyes .

Just want to add that basically, there is too much blank space to information ratio. This is one of the highest rules of poor/good design. You wanna make use of your space and have as much relevant information as possible.

As of rn, there’s too much space and bloated info, and not enough relevant info (Users’ posts). The portraits, etc shouldn’t eat up post space.

Still getting use to no paging, but the notifications is nice and the embedding of media and the emotes

Incoming web development tech stuff:

You can disable that with a custom greasemonkey script to remove the “topic-map” class.

x = document.getElementsByClassName("topic-map"); x[0].parentNode.removeChild(x[0]);

You can try that on your browser’s javascript console (F12) to test it.

Edit: You’d also need to set up an Event Listener for the AJAX requests, as scrolling back to post 1, if it leaves the screen, reloads the removed element.

Not a fan either. Way too much going on, and way too much empty space between posts. We’ll see if it grows on me, I guess.

I’m pretty displeased by the lack of block. No, mute is not sufficient. Bliz says they will fix it. I went and read a thread on the forum development software site and the viewpoint of one of the lead devs when it comes to the software can be described in a singular word: yikes.

There’s not enough choices in the report function. There’s a limit of how many posts you can report. There’s a limit to how many likes you can give. I’m at cap.

You would think a modern forum would have accessibility features like the ability to change font to a serif font or make the font bigger. Nope.

The infinite scrolling has crashed both my phone and computer browsers MULTIPLE TIMES.

I’ve been stress testing it on my pc using a browser plugin that keeps scrolling and a 4500 post thread. So far I’ve had 4 crashes.

What other choices do you feel are necessary?

I’d like one to say ‘This thread is in the wrong section’ because there’s not an option to simply note things for moving to a proper place at the moment.
