I wouldn’t mind them if they literally didn’t increase the amount of honor I had to farm by stupid amounts. It was bad enough before and now it is AWFUL. Why can’t I send honor to my alts? Why can I only send conquest? This is actually making me want to play the game less because now I have the conquest to buy the conquest gear but it takes me an hour to get into a rated RBG and actually play a game in YOLOs. Sitting 30+ minute queues for the brawl and random bgs. Its insane. You doubled the amount of times I had to upgrade gear but only nerfed the cost by 25%. That math doesn’t add up.
the cost should have been nerfed by at least 50% and really it should have been nerfed by 75% because it was already too much before.
If it takes you this long to get into groups then use that waiting time to study the maps and strats so that you can begin leading your own groups.
This will not change the cost of upgrading gear but you won’t be afk for an hour trying to find games, resulting in more Honor and Conquest earned per hour.
Too much honor. System dumb. Meanwhile my main and 2 other alts I did the dumb grind on sitting at full honor that I can’t use. fun game guys. And this is coming from someone who has geared so many alts. Its dumb how much honor u need.
The patch notes state * The Honor cost to upgrade Unrated gear reduced by around 25%, and the Conquest cost to upgrade Rated gear has been adjusted to spread across the new ranks."
So if you previously had 4 upgrade tiers, now you have 8. That is doubled. A reduction of 25% does not make it the same amount to upgrade everything.
I do that also, it takes up to an hour to fill sometime if you want a chance at winning because finding tanks is a nightmare. If you don’t ever win games then the honor won per rbg is so low, its not worth your time. Its an ugly situation. And as someone who PVPs, I join groups and they can take 30minutes to an hour to fill even with experienced leaders. All for if you WIN, you get enough honor to get half an upgrade MAYBE.
Sorry were we talking about honor gear and not conquest gear? Honor gear had its upgrade costs reduced by 25%; conquest gear had new ranks and the cost kept the same, split across the new ranks. I thought we were talking about conquest gear. The honor gear upgrade path is still a waste, even with the 25% neft, imo.
