My dog has been scared out of his mind all evening. Fireworks are illegal here but it never stops anyone. 1am now and I can still hear them.
In my coutry fireworks are use a lot in any freaking ocation, And i can’t stand it.
Nor my 4 dogs, i just want to make al that usless fireworks disappear, they don’t have a Real purpose
Try being a ex vet. My nerves can not take much more of the endless banging.

Go to your local pet store, or vet, and tell them you want some happy pills for your cat/dog. My two cats are stoned out of their minds and crashed out on the bed all while it sounds like a war zone outside.
I love the 4th of July. At least, I love what is being celebrated. But, I am also not a fan of fireworks. I just dont understand the need to light 100s of dollars worth of a product on fire just to watch a few seconds of lights and color.
I usually tell people they can give me their money, and I’ll hit them on the head with a rubber mallet. They’ll see “lights and colors” for several seconds, and I get paid. Win-WIn, right?
Yup. I have a friend who suffers from PTSD from being in military and they have a really rough time around the 4th
This holiday is always rough on my pets, so I’m not super thrilled about it myself.
Well you don’t have to show Tom Cruise movies.
You have to take care of your dogs.

The fireworks (and gunshots) were muffled by my box fan (thank you, broken A/C). So my kitties were only concerned with relaxing on the floor to cool off.
Can we please not destroy All the things that makes America History and tradition just because one group or another finds something intolerable.
I’m so tired of it. Why isn’t America culture and history something that is protected like other groups cultures and history?

Kiddos once threw fireworks at my dog while I was walking him with my mom. He broke free and ran home. Meanwhile, mom was chasing them kiddos. I am proud of my mom.
Laser shows are cool though! Imagine laser show fireworks. It is a thing.
Drone shows are even more spectacular!

It’s not the same without the sound. It’s a reminder of what had happen for our freedom and what continues to happen in the never ending fight of freedom. The explosions symbols the cannons and guns of the past. And the bombs of the current generation. It all plays a part in it.
