I hate mobile games. do you have a opinion on them?

Pretty much why my phone never has any installed.

I’ll browse the web, listen to music, read articles, and that’s all I need.

My PC and console(s) at home, for gaming.

And these days you have to fish around to find a game that’s designed for gamers and not corporate.

Any mobile game you see advertised is going to suck probably, ones you don’t see advertised like Idle 1 and survivalcraft might be really good.

It depends on the game. All of them have microtransactions, but some are less predatory than others.

mobile games are microtransaction laden garbage.

This is primarily a pc game audience. So you’re not gonna find many who like them or consoles. Which is kind of funny since MOST good pc games now are just ports of console games.

Mobile games can have a time and place. In the past I’ve used them to pass downtime at desk jobs, commuting, etc. They can be fun for a while, but typically become boring. Nowadays I prefer to read instead.

That being said I’ve never spent a dime on one and probably never will, but I don’t hate them.

Also - I’ve never bothered with Warcraft Rumble.

All the BS monetization schemes in recent games are all thanks to th dirty money mobile makes. Just take a look at OW2. or Suicide squad… or evey other live services BS game

Mobile games are okay but I don’t like most.

I play Pokémon go which feels different than a lot of games. I enjoy catching and trading and battling others, especially because my kids play it too we can show off our shiny catches and what not.

I wish for a wow Pokémon go with pets, I’d play that.

Otherwise the only other games I ever find myself dabbling on is a puzzle game that doesn’t involve a lot. Lol

I tried rumble and it was terrible. I uninstalled it right after the first battle. Eh

It’s not a mobile game, but you can try Palworld for everything else you mentioned.

My son is really into that and also recommended it. It looks exactly like Pokémon but better!

Some people like them, some don’t. I don’t play any mobile games I prefer youtube or something if I have downtime traveling.

But mobile games do not bother me and I know they make companies bank. So I understand decisions like Diablo Immortal.

With Palworld, they basically took the concept and design of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and ran with it in the most wonderful way. Someone had to do it. I’m honestly glad it wasn’t The Pokemon Company. I think Palworld bruised their ego a bit.

Mobile games are exactly like NFT & AI products:

They’re not “games”.

They are monetization first and foremost and anything that resembles a game is an accidental byproduct of padding out the description.

Never played one.

I don’t hate mobile games, I hate playing games on tablets.

Nothing to do with the games, I like my mouse k/board and/or controllers.

don’t like any that require me to actually move… or think…

i hate to admit how many gachas i have on my phone though so i’m not going to. gachas are so great with breakfast. if blizz were to make one, i would add it to my morning routine. gimme gimme gimmee bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizz

ahem, i also have a few puzzle games. so basically all very casual afk games otherwise: :face_vomiting:

real gamers knew what snake was

Osrs on mobile is pretty fire.
Beyond that, they are a scam lol.

I hate mobile games; they’re always the same concept, and it just gets boring.
