I’m satisfied with my hard 619 ilvl. Zero interest in continuing the slog of chasing ilvl. Season 2 will drop in 3 months and I’ll go to the next hard casual stop. I enjoy all other aspects of the game though, besides end game.

Ok, so you admit you don’t play the game?
There’s hundreds of thousands, even millions including China who do a type of content called “mythic plus”. It’s infinitely scalable content past the difficulty of mythic raiding.
And the only source of mythic track gear for those people is the vault that you just learned about.

Ok I’m not replying to you anymore, in my OP I literally say that I filled up my vault with myth track pieces. You obviously didn’t even bother to read what I wrote. and your idea to do raid when I want to do M+ is a classic forum trope. “Oh you like to do M+? Then do raid instead!” it makes no sense

No. You don’t know what you’re talking about, that is flat-out wrong. The highest gear that drops from M+ is hero track which caps at 626. But if you run 10 keys or higher, your vault will give you myth track gear which caps at 639. If you are a serious M+ player, this is very important, but you’re not obviously. Please don’t comment on things you don’t understand.
Again this is wrong. You don’t get myth track gear at the end of a mythic+ dungeon. Mythic+ dungeons drop HERO TRACK
I just want ilvl upgrades.
You don’t see these threads during the seasons where we have bullion or dinar etc

Giving you a bonus item for completing content that you were already doing for drops is a waste of your time?
if you’re in a hurry cause you want to push you can buy the boe myth tracks they’re pretty cheap

Now I understand why people call it a “bonus item” people don’t understand M+ caps at hero track.
Since you don’t know, if your game in this game is M+ the vault is your only source of progression once you have all hero track gear.

I mean, would it be better if vault was at the same cap as drop ilvl? Would it make you happier to have no options to progress?

Never had anything worth the time from vault, so I just ignore it.

What do you mean I don’t understand? Every single form of end game content gives gear. There is a maximum level of gear it drops. That is always hard capped. Vault is always a bonus. I also add, nowhere in your initial post did you mention ONLY Mythic+.
There is a reason Mythic+ does not award mythic track gear, and that’s because raiding is hard capped at chances for gear and Mythic+ is spammable. Raiders get their bonus loot chance in the vault. Mythic+ gets their bonus loot chances, too, albeit with a little more oomph. That goes for all Mythic+ levels.
So, yes, I play the game. You’re all just taking what is a “bonus” and turning it into a “need.” Let me put it a different way. If there was no vault, you’d just be capped at what Mythic+ drops. Just be happy that you get a bonus chance at an upgrade instead of turning it into something you NEED. Or complain that Mythic+ should drop the same things as Mythic raiding. Bonuses are bonuses, and the vault is a BONUS to normal game progression.

Ya know what, not at all joking here, I guess I will buy a couple tokens and get the boots because I already have a hat. And I will take worse stats and switch embellishments
If you do mythic raid, the drops are myth track. If you do M+ the drops are hero track. So mythic raid is much better, you BOTH get the drop chance from the raid itself, AND you get the vault slots.
Hero track being 13 ilvl below myth track means the gear is in a totally different league. Also way to change your story, I’m glad I quoted you before you did
No those are your words not ours. Me saying it feels bad is not a need. I am splitting my time between two MMO’s. I don’t NEED to play this game at all, and I skipped last season. The only thing we NEED in this world is food, air, water.
That’s why you don’t fill up your vault. Don’t play the game to fill your vault. Just play the game as you want to, get rewards for doing so but don’t play for the rewards.
This is as much advice to myself as it is advice to you. We’re not vaultmaxxing anymore.
Hence why a single mythic piece in the vault is a bonus item. That you have chosen this bonus item as your progression path does not indicate a system problem.
I know that the vault isn’t a reliable progression path for mythic track gear from M+. It’s a bonus that will let you have a few mythic pieces by season’s end. That’s it.

myth track boots go for around 150k so you wont need to buy multiple tokens
