I think a lot of premades specific queue eots, I’ve seen the same group there a couple of times on consecutive days. I get eots or wsg I figure someone probably specific queued them and I hope they’re on my team.
Yeah, eots is really awful.
I got pulled into one once, our team had 0 theirs had 1000-something. How do you get 0 points that late? I think they changed scoring since then, just amount to win as far as I know though.
To clarify this is about me losing an eots yolo rbg and bein mad cuz bad.

Could have been worse: you could have been playing the non-rated version.
No, in the non-rated version I can do sub-optimal things (intentionally) for my entertainment.
EoTs is great. I have my friend Abomb limb the enemy team in mid and then rolling thunder storm on him.
Non rated EoTS is terrible. It was so bad they had to redo it for rated.

It’s far from the worst BGs but it’s well known that the middle design has been an issue ever since the end of TBC. They can redesign the entire Deepwind Gorge from scratch into some monstrosity, but they can’t be bothered to expand the center of eots to account for a decade of knockback and other cheesy abilities like RoP and lock area teleport being added to the game.
Luckily, if you don’t trust mid then work harder to take 3 towers.

Just give the map invisible walls. There’s no reason you should lose a rated match because your healers got chain ccd into a knockoff. change doesn’t have to affect non-rated if you want the knockoffs there for fun.
It’s a simple change that anyone with half a brain could make, they’ve chosen to keep it this way because they think its either fun or skillful, and in rated pvp its neither.
WDYM? There is nothing more skillful in the game than knocking someone off of a cliff. Every BG should have a ton of cliffs.
WSG with a big whole in the center of the map
No reason to ever go mid on that map. Cap 4 bases and farm them at the starting rock.
