I hate dungeons now

I like when tanks pull big because I can actually use my party wide defensive cooldowns as DPS and feel like I’m helping. Maybe the healer will notice me :dracthyr_heart:

Leveling a healer rn is pain. It’s like tanks don’t know they get weaker as they level, making it harder for them to survive huge pulls.

And yet, you feel the urge to post in every one them.

I’m sorry you have this experience and I want to tell you I share the frustration. We have a guild with some pretty chill tanks that are really good at tanking. We aim to be a casual no bs guild in that regard. I don’t know what server you’re on (maybe I just can’t figure it out because I’m dumb), but you are more than welcome to join us.

It’s queued content, they can’t make stuff dangerous so naturally people are gonna do big pulls.

a tale as old as time. this issue disappears in 3 days.

No

Just wrong

I do think it will get somewhat better when the bored dung players have more options.

well it wont get better for players stuck at normal/heroic dungeon difficulty level, but at least everyone else wont be stuck down at the bottom with all the bad players.

I honestly think it will, because those who like blasting dungeons don’t have much to do now, and a lot are focused on blasting out and gearing alts until M0 week.

Once M0 week starts in a few days, a lot of those people are gonna disappear from the heroic and normal Qs.

Will random Q dung always be toxic, yeah probably. Will it be somewhat better, also probably.

Myself I’m done for a while, I lost patience with Mob Hallways in MoP I think.

If a tank is dying in these heroics they’re bad tanks and you shouldn’t care what they think.

i see. so once all the good players move on, then all the bads stuck in normal and heroic will have a better time?

to me it seems like nothing will change for those players stuck there and if anything it would get worse for them since players who actually knew what they are doing have moved on.

Follower dungeons or make your own group

You are incorrectly conflating those who are impatient and pushy and sweaty with those who are good at the game, know their class and how to play it well.

That Venn diagram is not a circle.

It is a common misconception.

so you think that people who are “good at the game, know their class and how to play it well.” will still be in normal and heroic dungeons? or will they have moved on to m+ at s1?

your not making any sense here.

Just do your best. Imo, dungeons haven’t been fun since WoD, which is a shame because it used to be some of my fav content.

Yes. There will still be lots of people who are good, but not sweaty, impatient and toxic.

The two traits are entirely disconnected.

They won’t be gone, but the percentage will be better.

Better is relative

ah okay you think the cream of the crop will stay in heroics and normals carrying the noobs like a hero should, meanwhile all the bad, toxic, impatient gamers will go to m+

makes sense

Easy fix: make dungeons actually deadly again.

Stay somewhat near and always marginally ahead of the tank while they are stopped, and you will always be in a position to keep up with them when they run.

I play both tanks and healers, this just isn’t a problem. If they overpull that’s on them; it happens. Tanks never die from lossing when I am healing, because I am always in a position to heal them, because I understand that lossing is the best way to gather a big group of mobs so I position accordingly.

When a tank is lossing to gather mobs, the mobs also can’t damage them. A tank in a position to gather mobs this way is not taking a lot of damage until the mobs are regrouped on them, so you have a LOT of time to get to them. If your tank is dying to lossing you’re way too slow.
