i dont even know what blizz can do to fix the problem, or if anyone else even thinks its a problem.
EVERY dungeon the tank just pulls and runs and runs and pulls then when they are at like 1/4 hp they duck into some nook to LOS the mob train they just made. in so doing they also LOS my healing.
i think what makes it worse is im a druid so then after that initial LOS its straight into every one getting massive dmg but since i had zero ramp up time im stuck panic spamming my least efficient heals.
Number one rule of healing is to not panic. With Druid’s mobility you should be able to keep up with the tank and be around their los corner with them - let them use their cooldowns they would be using anyway for any other healer while you set up your hots
That’s the DPS’ fault. If they see the tank running off just trailing mobs, there’s probably not sufficient agro which means any damage they do, the mobs are going to turn on them at the nearest opportunity. Either the DPS should stick with the tank, or let the tank corral the mobs where they want, before opening fire.
Likewise, you should not heal the tank if they’re running off to Egypt with half the dungeon mobs, because you’ll build agro as well. Like others have said, tanks have tools to deal with damage without a healer, at least in the short term. And heroics are so easy we don’t need our defensives for boss fights.
Mentioned it elsewhere but I wonder if heroics should even be part of the track for preparing for M+ and raids. Progression people don’t really want to be there, they want to blow it up and get out ASAP, which makes for a worse time for those who do.
They made the dungeons to easy in my opinion. So what happens is some tanks are snow balling threw those dungeons. Need better balancing. Don’t forget these massive pulls will change when Mythic + happens. Sure, big pulls, but not at that lvl of extreme pulls.
ff has actual blocks issue here is u can pull the whole dungeon kekw
