I hate dungeons now

If any tank in an lfg group of any kind says this, respond with “tank needing a heal? Cringe.”

100% valid in this content range 100% of the time. If they cant solo survive, they’re just bad.

Real and true.

Triple the damage from auto attacks, and double the damage of everything else, and increase their Health by like 30-50%.

So given new M0 is what an old M+10 used to be, they could just make Heroic like an old M+5 or so. It still won’t be hard, but pulling half the dungeon at a time would end poorly for most groups.

They should probably also move what is currently Heroic into the slot of Normal.

Simply increasing the damage just turns the game into rocket-tag. The healer looked away for 2 seconds? Congrats now you’re dead.

The better solution is to curb tank self-healing. That way the healer has plenty of time to react to incoming damage but a tank without a healer will die as the damage they take builds up with no way to remove it.

This is literally every MMO with dungeons in it.

agree doesn’t need to be super hard but it shouldn’t be brain dead either

So much complaining for something that wont matter in 3 days.

Meanwhile… I just got booted from a dungeon for NOT pulling like that. Its a lose/lose.

Just add a daze effect to tank when they get hit from behind, 80% slow.

It sucks but there’s only two things they can do. Further nerf tank survival or increase overall difficulty. It doesn’t really bother me too much because I’ve been in lots of groups like this for more than half a dozen expansions. But it does seem to be getting more common as the difficulty keeps dropping

70-80 on my hpal last couple days, pure dungeoning, not a single tank death. Mark your tank and keep an eye on them. Don’t lag 40 yards behind like some kind of MM hunter. Stick to them like glue if you need to.

SE put in dungeon features to limit this toxic behavior, though tanks can stil be a-holes in FF14 I agree, Blizzard simply refuse to do it … as with so many aspects of WoW, enabling toxic and anti-social behavior is part of Blizzard’s design philosophy.

They need to just add a permanent affix that when you get so many mobs together, their dmg goes up by 50%. It is in Blizzard’s best interest to slow down dungeon crawling in normals and heroics.

10 min dungeon runs are just a joke. People are hard farming these dungeons multiple times per hour maxing out their gear in no time.

Personally, I think Blizzard just doesn’t care about anything below M+ and Heroic raids. They just don’t care about that experience.

keep up with the tank, hes moving the same speed as you, there isnt a single healer that is slower than a tank.

Cut into the corner with the tank incase of Healing aggro.

Go past the corner before he cuts in.

I used to enjoy running dungeons, heroics or otherwise, but the “pull 1/4 of the dungeon at a time” mentality is just stupid. If the dungeons are so trivial, why do them? If it’s for crests, then it’s a game design problem, because there are a lot of people that play the game that don’t want the GOGOGOGO mentality. If I want to pull everything, I’ll just go play Diablo, which is designed for that style of play. Maybe the solution is changes to the LFG to allow people to queue with like-minded individuals, such as “speed run” or “relaxing” or something like that.

I have no clue what any mobs do or boss mechanics because none of it matters at the current state of play.

Follower dungeons are a joke, but I’m also not a sweaty try-hard trying to clear dungeons in less than 5 minutes. There needs to be a solution for, what I would presume to be, plenty of people like me that appreciate a challenge, but don’t want the stress of a high key M+ timer mentality.

I guess I’ll just wait until next week and try the higher tier delves.

That’s not true at all, only the last few expansions have heroic dungeons been completely trivial in terms of mechanics and pull sizes.

Even in cata classic the pulls are one, maybe two packs at a time unless the tank is Uber geared. And there’s almost no maxed out gear wise tanks doing heroics in retail.

Heroic dungeon content is so easy I don’t even know what blizzards design intent is. I would think heroics are for people who want to learn mechanics with slightly higher difficulty in preparation for m0 or m+. Which isn’t the case, everyone ignores mechanics in heroics so it’s difficult to learn anything about the dungeon.
