Roughly eight years ago I was playing on a Roleplaying server and I met a girl in Stormwind at the Golden Keg. She was sitting alone, and my character sat down across from her and talked with her a while. She had been having a rough time in her life, as had I, and we bonded over the next few months.
Two years later we met for the first time in person, and not long after that we fell in love and moved in together. The entire time we played World of Warcraft and many other games together, loving every moment.
Finally now, six years to the day after moving in together and forming this relationship, I roleplayed our Night Elves getting engaged and at the same exact time popped the question to her, and she said yes.
I want to thank all of the people at Blizzard for making all of this possible. We lived 5 states apart before all of this, and without our love for this game we never would have met. This game brought us together and the relationship that blossomed from that day in Stormwind has made me happier than I could have ever dreamed. And thank you to all the people who play this game and support it, not only because it’s my favorite game, but because without your support I would never have met the woman who brings me such joy.
Thank you for your time, and I hope you feel the love too!

Yes I love it!
My dream is for my boyfriend and I to eventually get married and also have a wow wedding. Sounds silly to some but this game is a pretty big part of our lives.

May be some truth to that! We didn’t meet in game, but we both enjoyed EQ for years and moved on to WoW for years more… 23 years and counting!
OP, always be sure to keep the gaming fun for both of ya

Congrats! My wife has her own deactivated account and alts on my account, and still never plays, lol.
Of course we only have one computer right now, that could be part of the problem, lol

My son lives in another state and we would play games like CoD and others, it made being separated easier.
