Or one could say, why should person a be forced to help kill the boss for person b when person a will get nothing, no gear, no stones, no gold
This is the only right answer in this thread.
Literally deserted the raid. Donât be surprised to see a debuff fitting that.
so when you get queâd into a lfr with all bosses except one down, and you reque after its finished to get the bosses that the game made you miss by queing you into a partly finished raid, you should be punished because the game chose to do this to you? amazing logic. brilliant even
I mean yeah. Itâs not rocket science to know how deserting a dungeon or raid works or the outcome.
Is it potentially frustrating? yes, but afaik the LFR pops up showing that bosses are dead. Unless thatâs been changed, you can hit âdeclineâ and avoid this mess.
they signed up for an entire raid the first time but blizzard in order to help other people decided to put them in a partial raid - blizzard created this problem.
People leaving the initial run did, not blizzard lmao
Does the pop up not say X/Y bosses killed anymore?
It does not show that some of the bosses are dead. If it did no one would join the partial
You living back in MoP?
Doubt, sat all through DF seeing this pop up showing bosses dead. Was it changed for TWW?
It never showed that in DF.
Blizzard did the worst possible change to stop a problem that wasnât that bad
It does not, hasnât since mop
Weird, I stand corrected on this point then.
however it does not change my initial point of leaving is still deserting and the buff is valid if not annoying to some.
so you have admitted it frustrates you. yet you rush to defend bad design instead of advocating for blizzard to redesign it in a less frustrating way. got it.
sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesnt. regardless of that, as stated already, there should be an option to que for only fresh lfr raids.
Annoying to everyone, youâll never get a situation where this is no partial lfr runs, not with 25 people and folks who leave after one wipe
Only two solutions exist:
Remove the change in lfr
Give loot for those who are there after a partial run
Would that work though?
What if each Boss was broken up into itâs own Raid, just kill the Boss you want and done.
for leaving.
Quest would be massively long on that, itâs already upwards of 30 minutes
I have never seen it show bosses dead - I was in there yesterday and I had to look where the group was to figure out they already killed the first boss.
I was in the same situation as OP yesterday but I didnât care because I had to wait almost two hours in queue to get that first boss killed.
Thatâs not what I said. If it as frustrating to me personally I would have said as such.
In your opinion it is bad design. I prefer not having to constantly refill as bosses die and for those who do leave mid run I think a debuff is fair.
I donât disagree. My preference would be a fresh raid every time.
you donât speak for me thanks
Never getting a fresh run ever is pretty hyperbolic.
