I got dc’d trying to que up RSS, now 85 minute deserter account wide. I came to contribute to the dead que’s and now I cant play the game for over an hour after no one was penalized. it went from 15 minutes and has continued to go up like im leaving games repeatedly. This happened when I changed specs from dps to healer and was working fine all day beforehand. I was fortunately not penalized CR but this has happened to me before with some kind of “ghost game” DC and no show penalization in BGB as well.
The time I spent trying to play the game is now ruined for me today. Please help as there is no longer any way to submit a ticket in game as far as I can see, which is very disappointing. I cycled through the 15 minutes and now it just keeps getting longer apparently. I dont leave games so thats why im confused.
Sick playtime for me today, good to know this customer support forum is just for show.
My computer is brand new and a very powerful machine. I play this game well under load for what my PC is capable of. My internet is a direct line dedicated to only my PC and I remain connected whenever I’ve experienced this.
I enjoy the game but the fact we no longer have GM’s or a dedicated ticket system is pretty disappointing. I’m going to assemble gifts and go outside.
Just to follow up I logged into some different characters to do bag maintenance before signing out. My deserter time account wide is now reporting 2 hours. Im afraid to even log in again to make a ticket.
This is a player help player forum. This is NOT a direct line to the GMs, or to Blizzard at all. No one here cares about what kind of PC you have. What your internet does is not Blizzard’s concern, nor should it be. Ayukama gave you exactly what GMs would give you, so I suggest following it.
This is a player help desk. It is usually to help with pointing people in the right direction, or to help those on needing help on how to appeal, or needing information on policies, etc.
There is different sections to the forums. Technical Support is for Technical issues, including disconnections from the game.
Information about the deserter buff is up to the development, and nobody here can make those changes. If you wish to provide feedback about the deserter buff, then you’ll need the other sub-forums such as General Discussion, where the development will read about it, or via in-game.
That’s nice and all, but there’s a whooooole lot more internet between your internet and Blizzard after that.
Recently there was an event where the ISP itself had a widespread issue with WoW, and it was nothing on either the player’s end or Blizzard’s end. I’m not entirely sure that it has been resolved as of this post, but I haven’t seen any further posts about it.
Technical Support was suggested as they have processes over there that can help someone determine where that issue is and fix it if close enough, or appropriately report it otherwise.
There are plenty of ways to submit a ticket, but I don’t think that would help in this case outside of providing advice on whatever disconnection issue you seem to be experiencing.
No, it is here primarily for players to seek guidance from their fellow players on a myriad of support related issues. It isn’t an alternative to the ticket system to contact a Game Master.
You initially claimed that you kept disconnecting and you were provided some advice on how to hopefully address that.
Both untrue.
The debuff “No-Show” which applies when folks leave a Solo Shuffle or Battleground Blitz match is account wide. You shouldn’t receive it nor should the duration increase simply by logging in and out. Unless during that time you are also entering those PvP modes.
If it is increasing outside of those situations I would recommend submitting a bug report. I’m afraid our Support staff is unable to remove or adjust those debuffs. Sorry. Hopefully, the debuff has expired by now and you are no longer having an issue disconnecting. Good luck to you.
