Hardly anyone else would be able to infiltrate the Imperium if the Skaven are already there.
As I understand the primary reason is because Tyranid exist, and thus Skaven’s major identity would be at odds.
I like nids, too, but I just really love rats. That’s why I play a sand rat shaman.
All inclusive I think has an issue with any barriers, or gating others. So, that’s why there’s backlash. Although they’re coming from a good place imo. In practice it’s just not enforceable. If you try and enforce it, you’ll get a stronger opposition. That’s what we’re seeing right now.

I’d never thought of it that way, but Tyranids do cover a lot of the territory Skaven would.
Even the whole “threat below our feet” aspect is largely covered by Genestealer Cults.

Only if they’re not moving, as long as the undead is in motion and observed, then it’s totally fine.
Rat ogres are on my list of obscure models when I eventually get around to them.
Though I’d likely pick up Nagash first.

It’s really not hard to not offend people. At all. All you have to do is have some discipline.

I hear the best way to do this is to say politically charged stuff in game that offends people enough to the point you feel like you need a guild that’s an echo chamber of your political viewpoints in order to find a safe space in game.

Problem is some people take being offended too far.
In Fantasy? It’s more complicated, IMO. The Empire and surrounding factions aren’t great, but overall the forces of Order are NOTICEABLY less awful than Chaos. WHFB also just has a speck of hope baked into it as a setting; despite how muddy and grim it can be, heroes can exist.
Compare and contrast to the nihilistic insanity of 40k.
Look at the community of responses, and the misinformation/bs that gets spewed in here. THAT is why you were banned.
The vast majority of Americans are centrists with a mix of “right” and “left” beliefs. Then they fall into propaganda traps made to breed hate toward the other side. Both major parties do it heavily and it isn’t excusable for either.
The fact that there are Americans that truly believe that n*zism is anything but a super minority fringe group in the U.S. and become hysterical about it “taking over” is quite concerning.
