The family seemed designed to produce some horrible people with the way they were grooming the boys to power and to expect what it comes with. And with the assassinations of his uncle and father he seems to have gone all in on edgelord as a teen and stayed there for way too long.
I’ve liked Mark Cuban. Sure, businessman at heart, but he gets invested with the Dallas Mavericks and, when speaking about big topics, has enough “Eff You” money to be open and honest.
He got ejected from a basketball game for heckling the refs too hard iirc. I vibe with that.
I mean, really, the only maybe credible account of that was RFK jr again =p
Hang on… WHAT.
They ought to give that money to me, cause my weirdness is just gonna be showing up to events in full plate armour.
I posit that having an overly luxurious or comfortable life is bad for the human psyche especially if you don’t have clear life goals for some reason. It’s ideal to have it good, but I guess the human brain might disagree lol.
I should be fair and say most, not all. There never is a perfect blanket claim when it comes to large swathes of people, even if it is a small percentage of people overall.
The vp was the one who brought it up before his boss.
Ah ok got you
He did work hard as he said to create that story to harass his own constituents.
never skip leg day. the pump is unreal
It’s actually a precipitating factor to Alexander Hamilton being killed in a duel by Aaron Burr.
Before the 12th Amendment, the parties were not legally required to have a Presidential ticket consisting of a President and VP. However, in 1800, both of the major parties at the time did (the Democrat-Republicans and Federalists). The DRs selected Jefferson and Burr, and the Federalists selected Adams and Pinckney. That being said, under the system in place, each Electoral College member could cast two votes for any of the candidates, regardless of the formation of the ticket, and in the end, Jefferson and Burr each had 73. Due to the tie, it got sent to the House, where Hamilton and the Federalists were able to garner support for Jefferson who eventually (on the 36th ballot) won enough votes to become President, with Burr becoming his VP since he was now technically in second place.
Burr and Hamilton were already political rivals, what Hamilton did in this instance didn’t help things, and when Hamilton later worked against Burr during Burr’s run for Governor of New York in 1804 (after Jefferson dropped him from the ticket once the 12th Amendment was ratified), Burr challenged Hamilton to a duel, and the rest is history.
Oh, the Haitians eating dogs and cats?
So, Trump called them illegal. – They are not. They were invited to live in Springfield, OH to work in the plants and factories following the devastating earthquake in their country. (It’s still extremely dangerous to go to Haiti.)
Trump said he heard it on TV – it was never on TV, it was a single facebook post. When told it was a lie, Trump said “that’s convenient they didnt find evidence” (“they”, being a high-ranking city official in charge of the city)
JD “Big Couch DPS” Vance told the media that he can say whatever he wants, and it’s up to the media to fact check him.
Stable genius!
