I got a week long ban for looking for a right-leaning guild

“Conservatives” would disagree.

I’m pretty sure that depends on the context as well. There are extreme people on both ends that can say some weird stuff

Excuse my Australian ignorance but…what is a right-leaning…anything?

Sounds like an unbalanced one-legged dwarf. “Oright you lot, so my right leg is shorter, you got an issue with that, where’s the guild for peg-legged dwarves?”

I assume its not that.

i appreciate your honesty. i generally really like being around people, just chatting and engaging with them is enjoyable, it’s why I gravitate to public speaking/leadership roles. Getting me to shut up is the difficult part, as can be seen on these forums (please don’t look at the post count…)

How do you equate those two things?

They are referring to people who are “right” as opposed to “left” politically.

Yeah well no matter who I’m talking to, I bother people. So I just don’t bother.

Captain Grim’s video for expansion launches are the best for it.

I’m very on/off. Sometimes I feel a bit chaotic and want to talk, then there’s times I just wanna listen to music and pretend no one exists

Most people whom call themselves conservative tend to be reactionaries. Reagen would be considered a communist for trying to float his policies to the modern GOP.

Yeah, think you just don’t notice you are in similar minded group so you and they enjoy it. Nothing wrong with that, but a guild of your IRL friends I’m sure has a bias leaning to what you all enjoy in humor ect. and isn’t a bunch of stiffs talking like robots about mechanics.

not bothering me, at least.

yeah, I can appreciate that. popping cd’s for “extrovert” and then waiting 24 hours for the “introvert” cycle of the buff to recharge.

The switch to battle net tags was a bit of an annoyance for me cause every once in a while I don’t wanna talk, I just wanna grind on an alt nobody knows about and vibe while listening to music or a podcast or something.

but like, the rest of the time I’m pretty chatty.

I agree that both sides are hyper-partisan these days. I personally would have voted for RFK, but he dropped out.

I would have voted for RFK too, even though he’s liberal. Biden and Trump are both Zionists, kinda the same thing, just different flavor.

If by hyper-partisan you mean one side put up a candidate who tried to overturn a legal election, and the other side just wants to maintain the status quo and not mess with human rights, then sure “hyper-partisan.”

The BfA one got me in tears, the tropes are so accurate. I also saw the Paladin trope in the beginning of TWW where I saw a guy walking around to quest and sit down at the bar next to Anduin :sob: :sob: :sob:

I mean he’s living his best life who am I to judge

RFK is like an old-school Democrat, modern Democrats are Socialist or Communist now.

OK, Im not very political. We dont really have right or left here so its hard to equate. Maybe once upon a time the Labor Party was supposedly for the workers while the Liberals were the more upper class types but that was a century or more ago, and it was always based sort of on the English political stucture which is different to the US. Now they are just two parties and they just try to out-promise each other.

So we tend to vote for our local representative if we believe they are working on your behalf or for someone else if they aren’t. We don’t vote for our head of government, the leader of the winning party gets to lead the country. I think it gives a different view to stuff.

That sounds totalitarian if the people have no say in the appointing of their leader, Australia might as well have just stayed as vassals of the British monarchy. I probably even have some distant relatives there too.
