So I’m on an existing lower level toon (25) and I wanted to take her to BfA content, and I can’t figure out how to get started. Chromie doesn’t have BfA; the Hero Board only gives me Legion, Pandaria, and BC; after not finding any quests in Stormwind, I took the boat to Boralus, found no quests in the city; the only quest marker showing up on my map in Tiragarde was in the south east where the shipwreck quests are. It gave me a few of the quests there, and then that was it. No follow up quests leading me elsewhere, and I didn’t get all of the rest of the quests I did like two weeks ago on another toon. So how do I get started?

I hopped on an existing low level Horde character to see about starting BfA on them, and with how OBVIOUS it is to start on Horde side, I’m thinking that it’s gotta be bugged or temporarily removed for an existing low level toon on Alliance. Judging by everyone else’s comments, there should be an NPC in Stormwind by the hero board just outside the auction house that gets you started, and he’s just not offering any quests (to me right now, anyway). Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.
I am having this issue as well, but only on some of my toons. My now Lv19 paly had no issues finding a quest that sent her to Boralus. But, my 30ish hunter cant get the same quest no matter where I look. Not really sure what is different between the characters.
I am not sure why Chromie just doesn’t have a BFA option. I get that BFA is currently “now” but still. I think they went a bit to overboard with the time walking idea. They could have done the scaling world and simply put a quest giver with breadcrumbs to each expac. With timewalking it complicates things. The biggest for me is that I had switched timelines on a toon, then a friend logged on so I used my daleran hearthstone to go do some legion with them. Except, I get out to azuna and they are in a different phase because they are timewalking. So I had to go all the back to chromie just to switch timelines so I could fly back out to azuna. Its like forgetting you have warmode on and running out to help a friend with a group quest. Ugg! You also cant take a level 50 out to play with someone timewalking (even with sync) because 50’s cant time walk with Chromie until the situation in Icecrown is taken care of…
Anyways, I don’t mean to highjack your thread. I really want to know how to get to boralus. It is a problem for only some of my leveling toons, and I think it is due to the poor implementation of the timewalking feature, which is a really cool idea-with problems.
Talk to the person next to the hero’s call board next to the AH, they should have an exclamation point above their head, that starts the BfA Questline.
Yes, they should. But they don’t always. As I said, I have had toons that can get the quest from him, no problems. And I have toons that he has no quest. Its the no quest that’s a problem.
NPC next to hero’s board, does not offer any quests. Unable to proceed to BFA questline. No breadcrumbs, no quests in Boralus, no BFA options from Chromie.
Same here, been looking for hours now, tried getting to lvl 11 but no nothing. I made many new alts and all have the same problem (even the lvl 30+ one)
there should be a soldier in Stormwind city right next to the Hero’s call board that should give you the quest to visit the king that should start your questline.
This quest was working yesterday and I think it was working early Friday morning. There was a small hotfix patch later on the day that may have broke it. Either that or I assume Blizzard disabled it because of bugs in Boralus but I have no way of knowing for sure. The quest is just not available right now. The Horde equivalent is working fine though.

Yeah…you have to go talk to Anduin to start the quest-line, and he’s not there anymore. I ran into the same problem trying to start the Twilight Highlands quest line in WoD.

Having the same issue here. I had the “report to Master Shaw” quest before pre-patch. Today I skipped the Lordaeron scenario and then there is nothing. This would have been “A Dying World” before pre-patch, but it looks like that quest was removed from the game (according to WoWhead).
