Been messing with my friend on my frost dk and he logged onto his pally for blessing of summer and then his shadow priest. On the target dummy using my burst without chillstreak or frost wyrm fury, I do about 20k dps for a 15 sec duration (while using abom limb). With his spriest I do 26 with power infusion and with only summer I do 35-36.
So I think a super devastating combo in 3s would be fdk, holy pally and spriest where pally gives fdk summer and priest gives gives power infusion to dk.
I feel like this would do soooo much dmg and just wreck things especially if you get chillstreak going as well.
We were going to try fdk and summer this weekend but we weren’t able to get on and will have to wait till s4 since he out of town. I would love to see someone give this a shot in 3s and see how it does.
Like, have dk go in and during his go pop ams, icebound fortitue and licheborn to be immune to everything but disarms so he can go full ham during it. Have pally give blessing of sanctuary if he gets disarmed after using trinket on a disarm.

The unholy variant is a super common boosting comp. They just run in and burst with the unholys abom + spriest void volley spam and hope for a kill or leave. Anytime I’ve faced them when they had a pally to summer them I’ve lost because the damage is just way too high to deal with unless your entire team has immunities.

Ah, I don’t really play too many 3s unless I’m just trying to get some extra conquest. Didn’t know that was a thing. I’ve tried unholy but I can’t get the same output as frost and can only get about 17k dps so figured frost may do it better.
I tried summer against the 2 target dummies and go from 40k dps to 60k dps. So I figured frost would have been better.

SS rogue does like 50-70k dps during peak burst.

It can work in 2s as either spec though unholy will be easier because abom limb is buffed by unholys mastery and unholy isn’t as punished for bad setups as frost is.
If you’re doing it right and they can’t get away frost will burst harder with this but unholys still easier and with summer your damage is so over the top you’ll kill most teams in the opener anyway.
You don’t even have to be good at unholy to work with this build either. Literally just abom limb when summer hits that 10 sec of super buffed and you’ll have one of the easiest sessions of your life.

You’re like 3 seasons late to figuring out frost DK + summers.
It’s just an all in spec thats countered by using the secret ability called “Run”.
