Implementing the Sethrak means actual development hours to get them functioning as an AR. We can’t have that cause then Blizz will say “the next expansion will take longer” as if their pipeline issues isn’t due to something else entirely

I would have liked to see the Sethrak find their way into either faction, though preferably Alliance for selfish reasons.

But the devs preferred vulperas in Horde and junkgnomes in the alliance.
For it to be something different, the devs would have to wish that the alliance had something as charismatic as vulperas.
And that was not something worthy of the work to write something that led to that end. After all, it would be a waste to do something like that for the Alliance.
Another human? More of the same?
And would they have ears like Dumbo’s?
That’s why they are so dull and don’t add anything new to the alliance.
It’s fine.
Just do sethrak for the horde and some gnome made of wood for the alliance.
The Horde will certainly not refuse a new race and the alliance can always reuse any gnome or blood elf painted in any exotic color.

I think people say this because the old zandalari npc model used a night elf rig, kinda like the jinyu.

Aye, though I think the MrGM video that showcases the early Zandalari AR has a lot to do with it too. In it he claims they were using the Night Elf rig.
