I will meet people in RL that play WoW and I go “Oh great! lets group up and play!” and they have been playing for years yet don’t even understand what item level is or how base mechanics of the game work and are just so bad at the game that I end up stopping grouping with them after a few days because not only are they bad but they show zero interest in getting better they are ok just shutting off their brain and being carried…

The people who push stuff are just 15% of the player base.

Most of wow current player base are people mid to late 30s and even 60’s they log in to farm mogs mounts and then bounce, the very few people I called friends on here will log in every few years. Wow is a game of old people who made Wow a hobby. this is a solo game for many with multiplayer options.
