I went all in for cata, was actually kind of excited to return to Classic. Cleaned up my bags and everything in retail to step away for awhile, prepped for TWW.

Started my Worgen druid.

Unfortunately it only took me about 48 hours playing cata to realize how neglected it was. So many bugs, exploits, etc and on top of that community just seems worse than retail and that is saying something. The dev team seems to be quite bad and out of touch. I have watched a few interviews with some real winners that should not be in their current job position. The communication from them also gets an F, as usual. Microsoft needs to revamp the classic team in general. This is unacceptable.

It literally feels like a private server.

I regret even downloading the client wasting my time with this crap.
I have 10k gold on ally pagle willing to trade for Stormrage ally retail gold.
This is the end of my classic journey for sure.

I didn’t make it past all the UI bugs introduced in prepatch.

Uninstalled that day. They need to hire new developers and QA for the classic team.

everytime retailers say classic community is bad. is that a meme at this point as I have not had an issue in 5 years of classic playing it. Maybe stop being a snowflake or petty?

I swear, AAA gamedev in general has been a bunch of suits trying to see just how much crap they can get away with and still have people giving them money. Of course, only to realize that they can get away with a lot of crap.

I came from SoD and I thought the exact opposite. Enjoyed leveling my pally from 1-85, been enjoying PVP so far, probably will dip my toes in some PvE as well. So far for me it’s been more fun I’ve had in SoD the entire time in a single week.

What bugs are in leveling?

Okay…new bugs. Quest bugs are classic, literally. There the first time, there the second time.

Just like retail. Like mop remix frogs. They were an issue in mop the first time lol.

Why I used questie early on. Vanilla redo, 3 quests I needed wowhead to find an answer.

Questie says go here. It’s marks where wowhead would have told you to go instead. Saving the lookup.

You’re always welcome on Classic Era (vanilla wow), the community is super chill and I think you will have a great time if you like vanilla.

I’m very aware how simple a game it is, but its disturbingly addictive.
