A quick way to earn “Love Tokens” is to make a level 10 newb and run him through the initial quests and then one run through the “Crown Company” dungeon and then delete the guy and make a new one. Almost 80 tokens per run through. But it really bothers me to delete these dedicated little guys who give so much only to lose their lives at the finish. Feel like a monster.
Roll orcs and pretend you’re playing WC2.
Just spam “Random” on the creation screen so you are not that invested in the lil dude.
The love token machine churns meat through the grinder.
People really find such interesting and elaborate ways to totally burn themselves out.
Good idea but they have got to be an Allied race to start at 10. I don’t have the patience to level up an Orc anymore.
Mag’har.
But Mag’har are too awesome to delete.
Often followed by: “Blizz forced me to XYZ…”
At my age there are only two things I can be forced to do, pay tax and die. They can’t even call me for Jury Duty anymore.
Streamer I follow posted on twitter that she was tired after running 230 alts through CCC every day.
Like . . . of course you’re burning out
I just set a reminder on my phone to call them after 5 on the 18th to see if they still need me…
That’s…wow.
Paying taxes is a good thing just look at countries like Russia where theres no tax, and the country and people are in the slumps
When I was working I loved those three days off that my boss could not refuse, but now (retired) it got to be bothersome and I don’t like holding peoples future in my hands anymore. I always seemed to catch the most heinous and difficult trials, another thing I don’t need to be involved in. I wouldn’t want a confused old geezer on my jury if I was up for trial.
You’re doing them a favor really. Existence is pain.
Gooooood grief…
So, story time.
Remember the Darkmoon Dirigible mount from Darkmoon Faire?
1,000 tickets.
The day/week that mount came out, I made several level 1 tauren alts, drove them over to the Mulgore faire entrance in the heirloom mount.
Would do the dailies, and mail the boxes over to my main. (You can no longer do this.) Got something about 25 tickets per character.
I’d do this about 40 times total, lol. Would put some TV show or something on in the background.
It took about two days, but I got my mount. (Doing it relatively casually too, I’d still stop to go to work and stuff.)
They later removed the ability to do that (send tickets to alts), and I like to think I’m the reason lol.
Surprisingly didn’t burn myself out doing that, but it was mostly minigames rather than playing WoW itself.
But I had a zeppelin mount when they were new, and enjoyed that for a while.
I bought the Darkmoon Dirigible on Retail WoW.
