I could see if wow was outside the development cycle and people wanted to complete it before leaving, but if you’re going to be around 5 years from now I don’t get the point in rushing to complete things in an unhealthy manner.
You can naturally complete things like loremaster by just doing a new zone every time you’re in the mood etc. but nah people will condense it all in one week, skip quest text, spam world events all day, just so that they have nothing left to do.
I think a lot of people who no life the game lack the self control to have healthy play sessions, they either need to be online 5-6 hours a day or not at all. I mean thats how I used to play when I was a kid, but damn watching people never outgrow that approach with video games is a rough sight.
