lol yea try that and tell me how it goes stop acting like its so easy for everyone just cuz you did it 14 years ago its getting so fing old and annoying people assuming just cuz they ran everything so did everyone else who plays
Again, I wasn’t speaking about JUST raiders. I’ve said so in the post that you’ve quoted.
I wasn’t even speaking of raiding in my post. I was addressing the fact that there used to be a lot more to do in this game beyond diving into ANY instanced material.
It’s the fault of Blizzard, and M+ players shouldn’t feel upset when people who play other modes want attention.
So, let me be direct. It isn’t the fault of M+ players, it’s the fault of Blizzard. If anyone should be upset, it should be anyone who wants more to do than instanced dungeon / raid material. Blizzard should focus heavily on the following for the next few years.
- Updating and integrating the game into earlier maps; make the world an actual world
- PvP
- Open World events
- New Holiday events (including new Holidays).
- Dynamic events (as seen in FF14, Rifts, GW2, ESO)
- Saving citizens / travelers from hazards and mobs (City of Heroes, ESO)
- Weather specific events (FF14, Rifts, ESO)
There are many, many players who greatly enjoy M+
From a purely economic standpoint M+ was probably the best thing they’ve added to WoW in a decade or more. It’s also extremely fun for many players.
Regarding the OP, Heroic raiders will still be able to get commensurate with their skill. The difference is that the skill ceiling and rewards for M+ have been increased. If you didn’t mind Mythic raids then you shouldn’t mind +20 key rewards.
I believe what everyone is telling you is old-old raids lacked the complexity of each new tier of raiding, because Blizzard had to come out with more challenging mechanics to engage players with. They’re also easier now with post patching, and add-ons that didn’t exist at the time.
Which is fine, I’m sure Classic is fun, but you’re trash talking people who do content you’ve never even attempted (and even lying about your XP) to support some weird vendetta you have against retail. Otherwise no one would have saud anything cross to you to begin with.

Stop taking the bait. The dudes giving you a hard time will never achieve anything of value in their lives outside of wow. This is all they have.

Who’s acting? It is easy. Anyone with a working monitor and a pulse can clear Naxx in whatever gear they have on hand.
Log and play a better game.
I’ve done everything I wanted to do in season 4 on retail. I was kind of hoping classic would entertain me until DF. Unforch ![]()
cuz after leavinf retail for classic i have a much better appreciation for why people said the old game was so muuh better and it is when i played in orignal TBC all i saw was kara i couldnt even get into ZA cuz i didnt have the gear and in TBCC i saw not only kara but every raid there after

no crap ofc naxx is easy its the entery level raid noone will disagree with that hell ill even agree naxx is easy
Every raid in classic is entry level.
not for people who have never done them before
I didn’t start WoW originally until Cata so…
agian just cuz its easy for you and your groupies or whoever you run with dont assume its that way for everyone
If you find Naxx hard, that explains a whole lot about your stance on M+ and retail. ![]()
A lot of the challenge in old school wow was because many people didn’t have a stable internet connection and fast systems.
Try doing the raids on a glorified calculator, with dial up.
never said i found naxx hard i did naxx 40 so i already knew it going into it
I disagree with limitations and want more options, I think there should be many pathways to gear and that ilevel shouldn’t have nearly as much impact as it does. No one should be forced into anything, everyone should do the content they enjoy and still be able to progress.
The real issue is that ilevel is WAY too important these days.
Try doing the raids on a glorified calculator, with dial up.
So what you’re saying is that Retail is much, much harder than Classic in terms of instanced content.
Got it, thanks for the contribution. ![]()
classic sucks
Plus, warcraft logs shows that way more toons participate in M+ than raiding at this point
Because that’s where they put the gear. Not necessarily because they’d prefer to be there beating their heads against trash and affects. You can bumble through an M9 in 90 minutes and get better than raid gear in your vault on Tuesday. Which you need to show up in I/O and get picked for a raid.

If it takes you 90 minutes to do a 9, you’d get way more gear from just Normal raiding and clearing 10 bosses in that same 90 minutes.
