It’s a forum meme for when people say “I raided by on my other account”. It came about when a guy literally claimed to have Scarab Lord, but on another account. We’ve been using it since then everytime someone claims their stuff is on another account.

Yeah the one that was Raiding Naxx during ICC as your first raiding experience.
Judging by how much you seem to loathe the content, probably wound up stumbling through the door confused and shouting “I thought this was a Heroic dungeon” at people or something.
Makes you a bit of a hypocrite though, doesn’t it? Doing content you don’t like and deriving benefit while badmouthing it.

I’m in my 40s now, with a career, “grow’d up” responsibilities and everything. I have more time on my hands to game, but I don’t expect everyone to have the same free time and access that I do. However, I do NOT expect Blizzard to revolve their game around ANY player’s schedule, mine included.
No one’s asking you to, because I wasn’t even speaking of raiding in my post. I was addressing the fact that there used to be a lot more to do in this game beyond diving into ANY instanced material.
Raiding used to be social currency, now it’s M+. It doesn’t mean that either should override one another, nor PvP, Open World events, Holiday events, or anything else. It’s not the fault of M+ players that M+ appears to be taking up all of the games’ focus and design, you guys can keep doing your thing.
It’s the fault of Blizzard, and M+ players shouldn’t feel upset when people who play other modes want attention. Blizzard used to design WoW in a way that incorporated all of its players. In the past seven or eight years, they’ve become complacent and lazy, and the head of development doesn’t do enough to satisfy all modes of play.

Raiders aren’t exactly neglected. If anything, M+ is finally getting more than the same dungeons the entire expansion with slight differences, making the experience more comparable to new raid content every season.
If anybody has a reason to complain it’s PvPers.

Jesus. I had Naxx LK on farm as a keyboard turning, clicker when it was current. Got the helm off KT the first night we killed him, and got trash talked in Dalaran for my guild ‘finally downing the boss’ by the only other raiding guild on the server. Lol

Sounds like the old community indeed. I remember a particularly funny exchange in Ironforge in Vanilla.
Some guy comes in, out of a BRD run, and claims so so ninja’ed the chest (of course he did, the heck you expect ?). First reply a guy goes “LOLOLOL who cares about BRD loot wow”. Second reply “Obviously maybe a guild of scrubs who are hard stuck on Majordomo should”. Third reply “commenting on guilds stuck on majordomo when you’re incapable of doing Chromaggrus lel”. And it kept going.
I don’t think anyone remembered the BRD chest after like 10 seconds.

Servers being isolated communities added a special kind of fun to the game. I wouldn’t go back to it for conveinence purposes, but fond memories. Lol
Seems like a waste of time when you can just roll up in blues and clear it in an hour…
