Way better than a near year of ED and boringradsill.

And TBH, I don’t even intend to play all that much retail/S4 anyway. The MoP remix looks fun enough and I may take advantage by playing something I might wanna main in TWW (if I’m still playing which is a decent sized “if” at this point).

I doubt the folks I play with are going to do all that much with S4 too. Enough to get our achivements and personal goals, but then tune out and do other things. DF is minimally fun solo/world stuff as is.

I’m confused, because still getting welp, drake, wrym crests and no where to use them
 vendors are gone in dream zone area
 and if you ask Valdrakken guards they flag a bedroom in valdrakken with no NPC’s in it (up the hill from the normal valdrakken vendors is where they flag to go
 but nothing there but a bed/bookshelvs that are non-usable)

You dont use them at a vendor, theyre for upgrading gear

And i should clarify, you can buy things for enchanting for them, but thats different

Following the time line given to us, new expansion comes out in Aug or September as a best guess. This means Dragonflight would be less then 2 years old before we are getting the next expansion coming out.

If you look back, every expansion with a full season 4 is pushing atleast +6 months longer than Dragonflight. If we want for Blizz to give us a full new season, we would also be asking for Blizz to push back TWW.

With MoP remix insight, Plunderstorm ending, we are getting new content faster than we have in the past.

Season 4 is here to give us content to play where we would usually get nothing. TWW is coming quickly so have fun and enjoy!

Silly question incoming.

Can someone please explain seasons? Mythic and such. This is the first time ive ever raided past lfr, and I can’t keep up with all these different versions

Seasons are just soft gear resets, every 5-6 months gear levels increase and you farm new gear again

Yea, season 4 is a different kind of season, instead of a new raid it rolls back through the df raids

Was kind of looking forward to a fated affix but without that or even a raid affix this time around it isn’t very appealing to do dungeons or raids, Or would’ve liked just new old dungeons over these again

Gotta do m+6 and higher or mythic raid for aspect crest, just like before. There was always a crest reset between season (or valor).

It is dull indeed but I understand why it’s not a thing this time around. Some affixes made bosses timing a nightmare, whilst making other a cakewalk.

Yea, a lot of people feel this way too. They could have put in different older dungeons in the mythic rotation. Heck, they could have filled the rotation with old 10 mans like Kara. That would have been a heck of a lot more fun than regrinding Dragonflight dungeons all over again
boring. As others have said, you don’t have to do the same ol same ol. My friends left retail a month ago when we found out the new (old) mythic rotation and went to classic. That is so old it’s new. To our surprise, we are having a blast experiencing WOW in its heyday. We are waiting for the next xpac to return to retail.

no its more like what they dont get is why people are fine with reheated leftovers as content and why something ridiculous as “item level go up” is excuse enough.

The gear upgrade vendors are standing in the grassy area near the Valdrakken Auction House and fountain area. It was weird not seeing them in the Emerald Dream, but I noticed them standing there and they have a quest for the new type of currency that awards flightstones and awakened whelpling crests, so there should be a " ! " on your map.

I wouldn’t consider 4 months a “drought”, at least not compared to what we got in Cata, MOP, and WOD.

I mean, sure, Ruby Sanctum wasn’t a banger of a raid compared to ICC, but it was better than getting nothing but DS or SoO or HFC for 8+ months.
