I don't understand the point of S4

With no new content, are we just expected to grind out gear from raids that we already grinded out previously, only because it has a higher ilvl?

Yes.

Yes.

So we have something to do until the next xpac

Yes, the treadmill.

Well, you can also have fun by having access to all of the strongest gear in the x-pack at the same time. So yeah, it’s a higher ilvl, but you also get to be OP.

But if that’s not for you, then you can always skip it. The high ilvl gear only lasts halfway through leveling anyway

All I know, is that I’m looking forward to getting my Grieftorch back and melting things.

What is with S4 and people behaving like they’re new to WoW?

Yes, we log in and grind out the same set of dungeons and raids.

Fun was detected, so fun has been eliminated. I suspect they’re making it an intolerable buggy grind so that come May, and this retro Mists thing, we’ll all be more than thrilled to decamp for Pandaria.

You do whatever you want, the power is yours.

Don’t think, just do.

Get back on that hamster wheel, blizzard has time played metrics to meet.

I’m guessing the real content was/is plunderstorm and that mop remix thing.

Guess what you are going to be doing in the next expansion.

Its just something to kill time with until tww.
Normally there would have just been nothing to do.
If its not your speed, you can just skip it and you wont lose out on much.

Because I’ve not been playing for 5 years.

It does feel weird with nothing else new going on.

Its exactly what i like, gearing

It was this, or S3 for 4 more months.

“…from raids that we already grinded out previously”

Fixed it for you.

TWW starter leveling will be tuned around a freshly-leveled 70. You’ll be just fine if you take a break between now and 11.0. No need to jump on the treadmill if you don’t want to.

You’d have no new content even without S4.
