I don't Understand the Mindset of #nochangers

But it’s a change regardless isn’t not? isn’t that what the whole hashtag is about? :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Being real here, the hashtag “no changes” imply no change what so ever. And… already we have changes, such as layering. And plus i’m pretty sure the UI in interface options take up the whole screen and not transparent.

I wouldn’t have a problem with that if it’s called #nochangesceptforsomechanges, but…

But i’m the chump for asking consistency (and only barbershop) i guess. :man_shrugging:

You need to be real here. Do you honestly think that #nochanges refers to technical things like increased resolution and driver support for modern cards? You think the hashtag refers to technical jargon that allows the game to even run on modern pcs? How dense are you?

If you need someone to explain to you that #nochanges is referring to in game mechanics like how weapon skill and class balance works then you really are a chump.

Make a character you like or go play retail. Part of the classic experience for me is people rerolling to change hair color. I remember my friend rerolled his nelf druid at level 30 to make her hair blue not purple. That is classic, go play a different game if you don’t like it, classic is not to cater to your needs.

Well considering since every person who follows this little hashtag, reacts to every little change presented with hostility or unfriendliness, and even (not sure if this is linked but in just in case, take with a grain of salt) at some to-point to want to remove certain addons or all addons (even though, they existed back then, regardless if they worked or not, and plus, that would be changing the game), then your gonna have to forgive me for thinking #nochanges is actually that.

…Then shouldn’t it be #nogamemechanicchanges then?.. Cause i would genuinely be more accepting to that.

Jeez, that honestly sounds awful, i mean, leveling takes time in classic and your telling me that it’s literally okay to delete your toon, despite the progress you made or how much time you sunk in… all to change your character’s hair color?

I’m going to… “Get real” with you (cause apparently, i wasn’t being real with you, but i guess it’s my fault cause you refuse to think i’m being real here but i digress), I enjoy Classic, i love classic, i would recommend it to people, and i want as many players as playing it. And in some parts, it is better then Retail. Do i think theirs serious flaws? Yes. Does it get boring sometimes? Sure. But i’ve been leveling mostly solo with my mage and it’s been a blast, and the community… ehh mixed bag personally, but they’ve been helpful. The only thing i dislike in Classic more then Mob tagging, (as much i hate people stealing my kills, i can just go litteraly anywhere else) is not being able to change my own character’s appearance (not just tmoging) just like in other RPG’s, and this is an RPG is it not? And i enjoy that in RPG’s.

I choose only the barbershop, cause i understand how the QoL features such in Retail can be damaging like LFR, Mobtagging, aoe looting, Speed leveling, etc, even with it’s flaws. Barbershop is just aesthetic changing.

Keep crying, it isn’t going to happen, the devs will give you the same response I am giving you but sugar coated. Think it sounds awful? Well that’s how it was in classic and it’s not going to change.

Density confirmed, have a good night.

What’s wrong with having that explained by the way? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Why do they call a library a library instead of “building full of shelves with books available for rental on them”? Why call a salad a salad instead of “bowl/plate/eating platter with various assortment of greens for human consumption”?

Is that so much to ask for jeeze!!

Being picky, but just so you know the bill of rights was added at once, so the first ten are one change. It means it has been changed 18 times.

There’s gonna be plenty to do at 60. The community created content will ensure that. PvP campaigns. Tournaments. The world in general. Some people just play to blow off steam, which I’m sure a Retail players can agree with, too.

I wouldn’t be against C+ but for the reasons many have stated: we don’t have the faith for Blizz to do that.

Adding new content, yet keeping the vibe and atmosphere (the spirit of Vanilla), would be great, imo. But nothing since Vanilla gives credit that they could actually do that.

I’ll be even pickier – they changed on the same day but they are, in fact, separate amendments.

What’s wrong with having that explained that #nochanges means no game mechanic changes if that’s what it really means? Cause “No changes” can cover pretty much anything to the ill informed.

I get it’s a snappy title (and i’l admit i’m not a fast learner, i’m a man to cop my mistakes and learn better from them. :kissing: ), but if you don’t want the less informed to be misinformed (since that’s what your worried about) specifying or explaining it what it exactly is good.

(Also, yes i’ve seen your examples, I felt you haven’t answered my question directly, and your examples looks like your belittling to me like i’m 0 years old and don’t know have a clue what these are all cause i didn’t understand what a hashtag really meant on face value and asking more info on it. But i digress.)

C+ would work like this: Big announcement, over promising and hype from blizz.

What would immediately happen: In game store now live! Check out all the new mounts!

What would eventually happen: Half baked systems glaringly devoid of many of the announcement promises.

If you like classic for any reason, you don’t really want the people in charge now getting their fingers in it.

Fine, the Bill of Rights was patch 1.1 and the rest have been hotfixes.

Of course, this is the version of the game I prefer. But I think all of us who feel that way have a deep wish that the game never went the way of Retail. I won’t trust a hope. I’m good with simply having Classic.

because “#nogamemechanicchanges” is a terrible hash tag, get a grip. Are you going to ask why it’s a terrible # next? Are you the kid from bad santa?

I get it, you’re young and learning. My adivce, stay in school and try your hardest, study when your friends are out partying and eventually it will pay off.

In my perfect world, WoW would have 0 elements from Retail and instead have drawn its inspiration from UO.

It would at least specify what it’s about. Maybe you have something better that perfectly describes that without being vague like “nochanges” to better inform people of that if your willing to share it?

No, but your free to do so anyways to tell me why my example is terrible. :stuck_out_tongue:

You mean the blonde curly kid at 0:16?

But now you mentioned it, you do remind me of Santa (Billy Bob Thornton playing as Willie) from Bad Santa. (i never watched the movie by the way, i just googled it and going off a YouTube clip and IMDb.)

… I wasn’t going to reply to this, but i had to point out that you misspelled “Advice”.

I may be pee poor at English, i’l gladly admit that, helps keep my feet to the ground, and i work to correct my errors, learn from them and do better, slowly but surely. But for somebody telling me that i should stay in school with an error like that under the same paragraph… ehhhh… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Just looking out for you, nothing wrong with admitting mistakes Friendo. :wine_glass:

Vanilla wasn’t 1.12 for two years. It was a long experience and there are big differences on how the game plays.

i dont want TBC

But 1.12 was vanilla, so what’s your point?
