I don't understand how someone like me will be able to find a group for Fated raids

I won’t be able to. But c’est la vie. This after all is for the aotc gang.

Everyone can find raids with a little :moneybag:. I am pretty sure that is what Blizzard is hoping for when they say they want groups to form to get this. They just don’t want to say the quiet part outloud.

I am extremely against any type of gold boosting. I think it should be a bannable offense, no questions asked.

Well, too bad. Blizzard sells tokens, they create situations to make people want to buy them and they even put in a chat channel for boosters to sell their wares.

That’s problem my guy

That is the game today though. Tokens are probably the most significant income generator in the game.

As someone who never raids this mount may never happen. I didn’t know it’s likely going to be limited time too. I was hoping to try for it after leveing in DF kinda like glory achievements.

As someone who came back this past week and rarely even does dungeons it’s going to be hard to catch up at all in time. I still hope blizzard puts it back into LFR like the achievement originally said. Having the slime Saber that many people voted on wanting in the game end up going away once the season ends seems cruel. I hope I’m wrong though

I want the slimecat but I have never learned the fights for CN or SoD. Never did them and got carried through SoD. It’s gonna be tough for me to find a group I think.

If you have a 252 ilvl char now, you’ll just have to gain 13-20 ilvl’s in the next patch to actually complete the raids on normal.

Why i’m saying 13-20 ilvls? Because you usually need the previous raid difficulty ilvl in order to complete the targeted raid.

World of Warcraft

Shadowlands: Season 4 Begins August 2 - WoW

Learn more about all the changes coming to Shadowlands in Season 4, including new affixes for Mythic+, Fated Raids, a new PvP Season, rewards, and more.

Should you conquer any boss in a Fated raid, you’ll receive rewards according to the difficulty level you’ve completed them in. The item level distribution for Fated raids is as follows:

Raid Finder: 265-272
Normal: 278-285
Heroic: 291-297
Mythic: 304-311

So going by the above, you’ll need to get 265-272 ilvl in order to be geared enough to take on the Normal raid, which drops 278 ilvl gear.

So no, casuals that only do LFR usually won’t be able to get it unless they get carried (pay for or have friends/guilds) in 3 different raids.

P.S. Sepulcher is tuned the worst so it’ll probably require the most ilvl.

This is really depressing.

There’s a path. Mythic plus 5 will drop 272 gear at the end of the run on Tuesday and LFR drops 265 to 272. Spam 5’s and 6/7’s on Tuesday and do all the Fated LFR’s.

We’re talking about ppl that don’t like to do grp content… to spam grp content so that they gain 20 ilvls (presuming they were 252 ilvl)… and then they apply to do the raid on normal, without having the normal achievement.

That will go well. xD

Sure but there’s also a chance that some of those players go “screw it, I’m gonna dabble in XYZ since I want that mount”. To Blizz if they can convert even a small handful of players from solo only to engaging in group activities that’s a win.

That SHOULD be more than enough, and depending on class/role composition you should be able to find a handful of folks to fill out what you actually need.

Of course, if there isn’t any desire to raid among the lot of them, then it might be time to start looking around.

They won’t farm for over a month to gain 20 ilvls just for a mount… that’s wishful thinking.

So converting a handful of players, and upsetting thousands… not worth it in the end for Blizz, imo.

Based on the outcry it seems like a lot of players want the mount.

I’d say it’s very possible to get some nice upgrades day one if all you do is run Fated LFR and some low keys or even just doing an M0 tour.

They won’t do grp content, think of it that they don’t even like doing dungeons.

You think they’ll want to go pug up in mythic+ ? up to 5 even to meet the ilvl requirements to actually down the boss?

I raid mythic and it sounds exhausting to me to pug that crap like that.

The benefit of LFR is if your raid group falls apart, you can just queue for the wing you need. If you have to join another group, chances are you’ll have to start over. And when you only have a week to clear a raid and some people can only play on weekends…that kinda sucks.

You just get some gear from dungeons and/or raid.

They’ll open all the raids eventually. People have like 3 months to get the cat or whatever.

LFR is group content though so would they have complained about that as well?

I really think Blizz is going to do a 180 on this and just open it up to LFR on Tuesday since this is basically their error. No one outside of some of the nutter gate keepers I see on these forums will care less if that happens.
