I really do love how active you are on the forums, Mirasol included as well. It’s a shame that out of all the CC members only 2 of them seem to be active in general forums.

I hold them up to a higher standard of judgement.
Most of the GD forumites are mere detritus that sifts its way from the game to shout into the abyss in hopes of being heard, while ultimately knowing they are ignored.
So when a CC gold star comes in and makes a fool of itself in a sunday thread, I blame this person for ZM Raptora - It may not actually be accurate, but I know somewhere somehow this person has said something terrible and blizzard has seriously considered it.

I think people assume the gold text is exclusive with their ego.
Well it’s an improvement over what we have now which is the bottom 85% who don’t play raids and advance dungeons getting ignored by the near top tier of players.
At least other groups are now being represented.
I’m sure they’re nice people, but the CC forum is just another general chat. Changes just aren’t being made based upon forum feedback when the vast majority of players never use the forum.

Some of them had decent intro posts - then they quietly disappeared and never commented on the thing they said they were going to comment on in their intro post. Where did they go??

community council is a worthless group of players who just have a wish list and really aren’t going to bring any positive change in the long run (see EVE online’s CSM)
(yeah a handful might have a few good post, but most suck like most of this forum and most forums)

apart from the cringe dude who shilled his twitch in his opening post then reversed course pretty quickly but started putting he was a CC member in his twitch title who cares.
some of them raid hardcore some want to discuss pets. seems to have more casuals than hardcore players which isn’t really what i’d prefer but what can you do.

The problem is that they’re just players, not developers. They have as much chance of fixing this game as you and I do. It’s a 20 year old game in an increasingly niche genre. It can’t be saved.
game has been getting nothing but W’s recently so not sure what you’re on about.
in fact i can count the number of missteps recently on one hand, obviously it might have nothing to do with the CC but that doesn’t change the fact the game is getting great updates.
They’re less obnoxious than MvPs overall.

The entire system seems like a bit of a joke, give a special forum to a group of hand picked Blizzard friendly types just to give the appearance of being interested in feedback from the general population🤷♀️

I suppose. They tend to keep doubling down on systems that people don’t like. While I think that the subscriber numbers would have dropped either way, some of their decision making has accelerated that trend.
