2 hour in mc is way too long if youre thinking its quick. A quick MC takes 55 mins so based on this It shows that your guild needs lots of work and thus may not be able to clear the raid super quickly. Also, proper consumes makes everything quicker and those guilds were flasked up the whole time.
yes. even to someone who never played on Pserver or never played classic it’s easy. only a handfull of player have a significant job in BWL… 2-3 dude on razorgore have to control him, for everyonelse it’s just your every day tank-and-spank. Vael’s bomb end up being the same thing as geddon bomb… and ooooh, you’ll have to LoS stack and twiddle your thumb for a little bit on firemaw.
the 3800+ guild who killed Nef on the first week ( not counting guild with more than 1 raid team or guild who don’t log at all) kind of suggest it is indeed easy.
Firemaw it comes down to tanks and healers.

Do I think BWL mechanics are hard? No
Add in resources, type gear, 40 ppl(anyone can pull threat or big mess up from one could wipe group). Is it hard to me? no but I would still put at Heroic difficulty because it’s just not me or you doing it. It’s 39 other ppl.
In retail when I did do mythic raiding, I simcraft/theory crafted, optimal itemization, and whatever. I did not do that for heroic raids, it was for mythic.
I understand retail has more mechanics but I also had more abilities to live(healself/mitigating dmg/whatever else) and less ppl I needed to raid with.
To me Heroic raids are easy.
I know to others it could be more difficult. I try to think of what others do or join guilds that don’t min/max on classic because I want to enjoy it for what it is.
I am having fun.
Point: no real point just enjoy the journey I am. If you can provide insight to op or understand others. Easy for some maybe difficult to others. It’s ok. To just say it’s easy. Then op goes in think like it’s LFR/normal difficulty, think they can ignore even simple mechanics.
Really tho in LFR/normal you can ignore a lot of the mechanics. Is retail harder yea mythic are.
Heroic difficulty seems like it swing both ways. It’s better for a guild know they can’t just ignore mechanics and being prepared helps. In normal below you don’t need no prep.
OP doesn’t understand that there are guilds which are a lot better than his. How can you be good at the game when you don’t understand this fundamental concept?

finding 39 other non-braindead people to raid with isn’t a valable measure of difficulty.
