yea or maybe they don’t actually care to do the content and are just there collecting gear on an alt they’ll never play again after this season. I cant tell so I am not gonna worry about it.

frame this and read it over and over before you keep making posts about people rolling items for purposes other than the meta.

There are so many holes in this, because it could be applied to virtually anything except Mythic Raiding.

All of these rationalizations, excuses, etc. are just so other people won’t think you’re a jerk. It’s ok, just be a jerk. You don’t have to explain yourself or reason otherwise.

I feel a lot of things while running LFR. Anticipation. Relief. Frustration. Exasperation. Guilt for rolling on things I want, or need isn’t one of those things.

I’ve played this gear on and off for 20 years too hi!

when content drought exists I go do achievement, hunt mogs that I never got even though I went to LFR every week, and help my friends gear up their characters they wanna use later.

I’m confused by this. You said “no”, then repeated what I said.

I’m saying LFR is not just for sight seeing just because you can get the same ilvl gear elsewhere. The same could be said of Mythic+, Normal, and Heroic raids, weeklies, PvP, etc.

The thing is, most of these just come across as rationalizing in a way that makes people think you are not just a jerk but a dishonest one or something.

If the only defense you have is a rationalization, it fails unless the one you are trying to rationalize yourself to has similar views.

And THAT I get. or at least I am beginning to (seriously, I barely do anything these days but I still log in). However, when you have all the everyone and their mother rolling on every single thing because “Oh shiny” or “Oh gold”:

It’s ridiculous.

Bring back PL. Fix the stupid system for LFR only and this problem goes away for the most part. And fix the RNG rates in general.
