Literally no one does this anymore. And half the time it turns into an auction for the highest bidder.
Then don’t sign up for shiz you’re overgeared for. Half the time people sign up for the satchels. I sign up for stuff I’m overgeared for when it offers that bonus and then I sell the augment runes.
LMAO… So was in LFR trying to get tier on my new character the other day. A trinket dropped that was BiS. Low level but still could be leveled up to same item level I had on it. But I really wanted tier. Then here comes this player who got tier ripping into me saying I shouldn’t be rolling on lower level items and that I was what was wrong with everything with this game. I offered to swap trinket for tier, he refused, then I blocked them.
Needless to say, even if your in LFR, chances that over geared toons are actually carrying most of the players that die 20 seconds into the fight, then complain when those who carried get loot. Be happy your getting vault. Cuz without those “over geared” players most of you would not be getting anything.
Right… Telling people not to go to LFR for gear upgrades isn’t a new low? But telling people who need on gear they already have a massive upgrade to is…? The math isn’t mathing in your brain.
How is this so hard to comprehend. Greed is wanting something you dont need. Hence the button. They way you and all these other im-just-being-equal dumbasses explain it leaves no room for greed at all.
Why do you NEED a specific look. I can tell you exa ltvwhy anyone wants an upgrade. I dont even have to ask.
The game lets you be an a**. Doesnt mean you have to be. Youre choosing too.
“Blame the game”. Its not the games fault you choose to be greedy. My upgrade is objectively more important than your looks.
Stop trying to argue with these people. They’re the same kind of people that refuse to return shopping carts to the stalls and would definitely hide zombie bites in an apocalyptic setting lol.
IDK why players have such a fit over LFR gear. Even more so RIGHT NOW in the game. You have 5 CATALYST CHARGES and can get 5 CRAFTING SPARKS. You can actually go from 420 to 470 in just a matter of days and have full HEROIC Tier quiet easily… I am not even joking, LOOK AT THIS VERY CHARACTER I AM POSTING ON… LOL…
It continues to amuse me that just because someone’s goals don’t align with another person’s, they are automatically a bad person in game and in real life. That’s some serious mental gymnastics. It’d be impressive if it wasn’t so childish.
So then everything is needed? When should greed be used? Because its definetly not when the user is being greedy. If you can justify needing any piece of loot, then youre saying nothing is greedy? Everyone is entitled to all loot. Scew the need button then, just automatically need role for everyone after a boss fight. Who needs need and greed buttons under your definition of who gets to hit need.
You might want to think over your answeres. Seems like trying do hard to lie to yourself. These definitions are pretty straight forward.
Also, dont tell them its still legal to beat your wife in certain states. These guys like to use antiquated reasoning to do dumb stuff and feel good about it. Hey, it’s legal after all.
Right? Blizzard has already determined I deserve to roll on it. People seem pretty entitled trying to add their own personal conditions to that. We all contributed, so I have the same right as anyone else to roll on what I can use, you just may not like how I use it. The true greedy people in this thread think their use is somehow more worthy than someone else. Blizzard doesn’t agree, sorry.
Also, people keep saying to bring back Personal Loot to solve this. That’s literally not gonna fix anything, because PL isn’t going to mean you’re gonna roll against fewer people, per Blizzard’s own words:
all players in Personal Loot were constantly ‘rolling’ behind the scenes, whether you wanted to or not. It’s not as simple as ‘with group loot you’re rolling against everyone, but in personal loot you’re rolling against fewer’
With PL, everyone rolls on everything which means overgeared players don’t get the chance to pass on things they don’t intend to use. Therefore you’re effectively rolling against everyone else for every single item always, vs Group Loot where people have a choice to roll, and if they pass, your chances are increased. I know everyone seems to think that everyone always rolls Need all the time anyway, but that’s not always true. If I’m there for transmog, I have no need to roll on trinkets, necks, rings, etc. But as already pointed out… if you won’t allow my main to roll, then I’ll just bring in a fresh alt and absolutely end up rolling Need on every single thing every single time same as you… including the trinkets, necks, rings, etc. which does NOT help your chances either.
Blizzard knows what they’re doing. They created the system to encourage overgeared players to have a reason to keep going into LFR. It keeps people going back and means there will regularly be a healthy mix of people who know the fights and those who are new and learning. It’s by design.
